Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Courses in great condition lots of shade off the fairway greens and great shape running about 8 and 1/2 not too fast you can shoot at the pins great layout I play there a lot
They Need Rangers!!!!!
They have Rangers but! They don’t at the same time because they will never ever ever ever ever enforce pace of play. The cart girls do a better job at trying to enforce pace of play. When when they see groups of four at the tee box waiting and then another group of four pulls up behind them all because the group in front of us are taking their sweet time wow trying to teach a lesson at the same time.
Love the course the staff is great, but they really need to enforce pace a play. Or at least have the range come out and say hey let these guys go in front of you because they’re playing way faster.
Get a real Marshall
This is the best course on this side of town. Only one major problem, Marshall don't enforce pace of play! You have people skipping holes and jumping in front of you. People playing and trying to give new golfers lessons while on the course! three to four groups on one hole. A round that should only take 3-3.5 hours take 4.5-5 hours to play.
Beautiful course
Course is immaculate, easily in best condition of any course in Jacksonville.
Incredible condition
Course was in absolutely perfect condition. Not a bad lie in any fairway, greens were excellent and rolled true. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Very satisfied with price and will be back soon.
Really nice course
Several interesting holes, fairways in great shape. Only a couple of slightly spotty greens. Very nice staff.
Bent Creek still has the goods
Course is fine, it's always been a challenge, they've got it in great shape, fairways, tee boxes, & greens, & believe me, if your above the hole, like I was most the day, you better be good at making come backers at 6' & better!! Not the greens fault, I just could'nt stop putt'n the heavy hand on it. I cant wait to get back & get my revenge, I'll get it, I've done it before!!
I love the layout good group of holes left right shot long
The only thing that needs to be done is the yardage is terrible in the fairways if you don’t have a range finder you don’t know, I must have missed club 5 or 6 times witch cost me several strokes
Start on 10?
Haven’t played Bent Creek in a while but it is a more difficult course to start on back nine. It’s probably subjective to my game with most water on right side. I seem to score better starting on 1st hole. Overall course in very good shape however pace was a little slow with no rangers.
Pace of play
For the millionth time PLEASE get a Marshall that will enforce the pace of play.
Great Value
Decent greens/fairways for the price. I would definitely play it again. Pace slowed down towards the end. We didn't see the ranger in the back nine.
But the ranger was present in the front, trying his hardest to keep play flowing.
Great course for the money
Had a wonderful round at this course - nice layout and fairly difficult at times
Course conditions are very good tee to green
Layout is a good challenge - be sure to ask anyone you’re playing with if they are a regular - some twists and turns can cost you strokes on this one
