About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Good layout But Wet
Course doesn't drain well. Greens were bumpy and very slow. What a nice layout. If the course drained better, it would be playable. Swampy, greens were not smooth at all. Staff was nice, good course during dry season.
Course in great shape!!!
I have been playing here alot since early 2000's. Very nice layout and been in a lot better shape than recent years. Greens and fairways looking great going into later season. This is the Best Time to play!!!

No Greens
The weather was perfect the staff was so nice! Once we got on the course all that changed. The pace of play was even very good for a Saturday tee time of 10:50am.
But once we saw the first green and then the second and the third, we knew it was going to be like playing to temporary greens. So discouraging to see with everything else going so good.

Mother Nature
Mother Nature made the course a challenge to play, lots of rainy days. Over all a great day of golf.

Great layout
Very nice public golf course. Fairways and tee boxes are in great shape, greens are a little rough at the moment. Very playable. Will definitely play again when I am in the area.

Date with grandsons
The greens were horrible. Cart paths were horrible. Pace of play horrible.

Needs a makeover
The course layout and staff are the redeeming qualities of the course. However, the greens, or more accurately “browns” were not in great condition. The fringe was essentially dirt and it was almost impossible to have a decent putt due to patches of dirt and other undesirable conditions of the greens. Multiple putts started on an accurate line would not stay on the line because of erratic bounces. It was the only time available for my group but we will not likely be returning.

Great layout
Great layout. Greens are not in the best shape but very playable. Fairways are in great shape and require some accuracy off the tee. A challenging but fair course. Pace of play was slow due to a tournament in the AM. Would definitely recommend this course if you’re in the area.

Good but wet
Course in relatively good shape but very wet Mud on ball on almost every fairway shot Getting no roll made for long course Some greens still had punch holes Starter was great! All in all good day of golf

NICE CHALLENGING COURSE.
The course condition is good overall but today the phase of play was super slow due to a foursome that was intoxicated and the course marshall did not intervene at all.
