Bent Creek Golf Course

First- The Positive. This is a pretty nice little course.

It’s not long at all. But you have to keep the ball in play.

The greens were a little mangy in spots. But not too badly and the ball rolled nicely.

Now- here’s the problem.

This place was insanely slow.

It took us 3+ hours to play the front and there were often 3 separate groups waiting on the tee to hit.

I’d blame the rangers, but when it’s that packed, what can you do?

My advice- charge $5 more per person and put 3 fewer 4somes out per round.

There was a foursome in front of several twosomes and they did not wave any groups through nor was there anyone from the course riding around to ensure pace of play. Several times a hole had at least 2 groups waiting on the tee and a group in the fairway while the foursome was on the green.

Fairways were beautiful but a few greens were tore up.. Love the layout. Fun and challenging.

I was on the 6th. hole in the middle of the fairway , when a worker drove pass us. As we were walking to the green to putt he turn the sprinklers on while we were putting on the green! then had the nerve to wave hi at us as he drove pass us on the 8th. hole! not cool!

when are y'all going to fix the silver tee box on the 11th.hole? I enjoy playing here every monday. but if this stuff keeps up what choice do I have but play somewhere else on mondays? treat your regular customers better than this please.

The rounds here, even during the week days are over 4 hours. The course was wet from a large amount of rain the previous day.

I really liked this course. The fairways were in excellent shape and it offered some great challenges. The only negative was there was some repair work on about 3 greens. I did not land near the repairs so I was good. I highly recommend this course. Make sure you bring plenty of water and snacks as there was no cart girl.

Well maintained course. Best fairways I’ve played in awhile. For $35 on a Thursday morning I’ll definitely be back.

Overall it’s a fair course. Several tough waterways and a decent par 5 cluster. The only downside was they took away all of the water coolers from the course while it’s mid- 90s outside... Not a smart idea. Just add hand sanitizer to each station and bring them back please.

To get over da hump we played one of the best courses in Jax great day and everything bout da course was excellent fairways were awesome greens was rollin sweet very nice day

Have played this course for years, very slow play on EVERY Sunday. Over 4 hours to play 18, normal pace for our group (playing ready play) is 3-3.5 hours. Seems the Starter and staff could do a better job keeping the groups moving at a steadier pace. Waiting on a tee box for 15 minutes is not good! Alternate groups teeing off your first 2/3 hours between teeing off on 1 & 10 to get your groups moving faster.

The course is not as well manicured as in the past. Hole markers are over grown and fairway markers can’t be found.
