Bent Creek Golf Course

Love this course. Play it every time I visit Jacksonville. The value is tremendous. However, it is not a walk in the park. If you can't keep the ball in the fairway prepare to lose lots of balls. Narrow fairways with water on multiple holes require you to drive it straight. Still, the conditions of the course, friendly staff and pace of play keep me coming back time after time.

The marsh areas in front of tee box need to be trimmed but overall great course

Greens are faster. Keep working on the par 3 tee boxes. Wish y’all had sand bottles on the carts. I love this course and I hate making divots in the fairway and not be able to repair them. The new golf carts are wonderful!

Unfortunately the driving range was closed due to heavy rain happens every now and again. A couple of the holes were cart path only because of the rain again. The greens are looking fantastic and excellent layout .Staff is always friendly and courteous.

First- The Positive. This is a pretty nice little course.

It’s not long at all. But you have to keep the ball in play.

The greens were a little mangy in spots. But not too badly and the ball rolled nicely.

Now- here’s the problem.

This place was insanely slow.

It took us 3+ hours to play the front and there were often 3 separate groups waiting on the tee to hit.

I’d blame the rangers, but when it’s that packed, what can you do?

My advice- charge $5 more per person and put 3 fewer 4somes out per round.

There was a foursome in front of several twosomes and they did not wave any groups through nor was there anyone from the course riding around to ensure pace of play. Several times a hole had at least 2 groups waiting on the tee and a group in the fairway while the foursome was on the green.

Fairways were beautiful but a few greens were tore up.. Love the layout. Fun and challenging.

I was on the 6th. hole in the middle of the fairway , when a worker drove pass us. As we were walking to the green to putt he turn the sprinklers on while we were putting on the green! then had the nerve to wave hi at us as he drove pass us on the 8th. hole! not cool!

when are y'all going to fix the silver tee box on the 11th.hole? I enjoy playing here every monday. but if this stuff keeps up what choice do I have but play somewhere else on mondays? treat your regular customers better than this please.

The rounds here, even during the week days are over 4 hours. The course was wet from a large amount of rain the previous day.
