Champions Club at Julington Creek
Staff in clubhouse were very friendly and hospitable. Course and pace of play were above par. Cart girl was very friendly and had array of choices .
Nice course but need a ranger!
Course is in excellent condition. Need a ranger! Pace of play was really slow. Two groups in front of us were really slow and no ranger to make them pick up the pace or let us play through.
Slow play

Great place to play. Rangers need to keep play moving at a reasonable pace. Course is in great shape. greens rolling good. Friendly staff and cart girl came by often.

Great Golf Experience
I played Champions at Julington Creek for the first time this past Sunday afternoon. The course was in good shape (greens recently aerated) and there was no one ahead of me. I thoroughly enjoyed the layout of the course and the fast pace of play. I'll go back next Sunday afternoon!
The greens are the best i've seen in a long time
I played this course in a tournament. Word on the street was that the greens were in the best condition in a long time. I didn't believe it until I saw it. Very impressed of the condition of the course.
Nice course but SLOW play
Met by helpful outside staff. Conditions nice. Got behind a mini tournament group of 11 people and it became an almost three hour back nine. Advised the Pro Shop staff after the round and they showed no/little interest. Will probably come back but will check first that we are on a different day than Ladies Day.
A great place to play
After searching around GolfNow for a good deal on a nice course, I settled on the Champions Club because of the reviews. The course was a little busy - to be expected on a Friday - but it moved along decently for a 4.5 hour round. I was a single and my wife rode along. Unfortunately, the starter let the threesome I was supposed to play with go early, so when I got to #1 5 minutes early after warming up at the range, he had me meet them at #2 and play #1 at the end. It was a pain, but not a big deal.
The course was is good condition. Living in a very golf friendly region, I am used to very nice, fast greens. I couldn't get used to the slow, shaggy greens, but I can't blame the course other than I wish they were slicker.
The club house was fine - nothing special. The staff wasn't over the top friendly, but they weren't grumpy either, so that was fine (why are golf course staffs always so grumpy? They work on a GOLF COURSE - shouldn't they love their job?!).
Course is in very good shape.
This course has improved from having unplayable greens a year ago to having very good greens.
The improvements made to the course and facilities will make me come back, since the course is a pleasure to play now.
Tony G. Is the best!
Thank You!
First timer enjoyed it a lot
Greens in great shape. Fairways perfect. Will play again very soon.
