About
The Country Club of Mount Dora is a semi-private club located 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando in the hills of Lake County. The course was built by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design and opened in 1991 and features water on 16 of 18 holes, as well as raised greens and bunkers. The course is set on mature landscape and affords views of the nearby horse farms and lakes. The par-72 course features bermuda grass tees and greens, plus three tee boxes to choose from. The country club is also home to a clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts onsite.

One of the Better Courses
By far, a terrific course. Condition of greens and fairways always superb. Be careful of sloping fairways though on some holes or you'll end up wet. One complaint: I can't ever figure out the greens. I can't count the # of times I was positive my putt was going to drop, when within the last few inches it changes direction. Avg # of putts at CC Mt Dora always a little higher than other courses I play.

Great day of Golf
Course was in great condition. Hardly anyone out that day so we were able to play quickly. Would recommend course to others and will play it again.

Beautiful!
This was my first time playing at this course. My entire experience, from the bag drop to my cart return, was amazing. The views were beautiful and the course conditions were exceptional. Every staff member was very kind and professional. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Single For 18 Holes
First time playing here. Loved it! Smallish practice green and chipping area. Grass driving range with pond and floater balls. Starter let me go out on my own. He told me I’d catch up with the men’s group and their tournament. Sure enough by number 3 I did. They moved along at a decent pace but I had plenty of wait time. The tee boxes could use a little TLC. The fairways were nice and the greens were receptive and rolled true. Best greens I’ve found around this area (and I’m picky about greens). It’s a challenging layout with its share of water. Several doglegs that will cause you to think.
Don’t pass this place up. You will love it, too. I would play here again in a heartbeat.

Great shape, fast round
The greens and fairways are in excellent condition. The red and yellow tee boxes could use some TLC, but are fine. Two of us played in just under 3 hours on a Fri morning. The golf pros are friendly and provide excellent service. I'll play at least two more times this week.

Nice course, very good shape
Course is in great shape. Greens and fairways are really good. Putting greens was same as all the greens. Pace was good even though we waited on most tees, still finished in 4hrs 20 mins. I've played this course a lot, although it's been a few years, still one of the nicest places around.

My home away from home
I enjoy ccmd; I had hoped to live here someday, but will have to see now that changes are coming. A couple of greens were in rough shape but one could tell that they were being treated. Jose in the golf shop is always friendly and attentive. In the two weeks that I will be here, I probably play 6 or 7 times.
