About
The Country Club of Mount Dora is a semi-private club located 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando in the hills of Lake County. The course was built by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design and opened in 1991 and features water on 16 of 18 holes, as well as raised greens and bunkers. The course is set on mature landscape and affords views of the nearby horse farms and lakes. The par-72 course features bermuda grass tees and greens, plus three tee boxes to choose from. The country club is also home to a clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts onsite.

Challenging Round
The wind makes this challenging course even more difficult. Course is in great shape. Amazing greens. Will definitely play again.

Nice Challenging Course
Other than the starter being rude at the beginning, it was a great day of golf. Slow pace of play with a foursome ahead of us. Challenging layout. Some rough pin placements. Very windy day. But it beats being at work all day, right?

worth the drive
in good shape overall...a couple of greens have issues, but still worth the drive from east Orlando.

Good course
Course was in great shape and you couldn’t beat the price. Will for sure be back again even though it’s a bit of a drive for me.

Great Course For The Money
I shoot in the high 80s and don’t need to play championship level courses but do want the courses I play to be in good shape. This course is in great shape for the price. If you like playing courses like Dubsdread in Orlando, this is a great option while having more of an old Florida feel. At $30 - $40 you won’t be disappointed.

Saturday Round
Had a great Saturday round here a few weeks ago. The course conditions were great and the layout is fun. Pace of play was also perfect, especially for a Saturday. The starter isn’t the friendliest of people but not a big deal. Highly recommend playing here if you haven’t!
