The Country Club of Mount Dora

The course was in top shape even after getting lots of rain. It was challenging due to all the water hazards. It is a course where you have to think about ball placement. Pace of play early in the morning was quite decent. We didn't have to wait around for our next hole.

I definitely recommend going there even if it is out of your way. It is definitely worth the drive.

The Country Club of Mt Dora is an outstanding golf course. The layout is open in parts and tight in others, which, to play well, demands you hit ball in the correct locations, but there are plenty of holes you can let it loose!

The aqua range is nice, good amount of flat hitting area to use! No issues there!

It's been about 4 weeks since aerification and the greens are rolling at bit slowly, but consistent green to green. The speed will increase as they continue to heal. The Club takes very good care of the course, but as with every course, there are a few tee boxes that need attention and a few spots on the greens as well, but you wont' be disappointed!

This course will challenge your game!

The Pro Shop staff are super friendly as is the starter, beverage cart attendant and rangers! The only hiccup was that the "snack shack" between holes 9/10 didn't have anyone selling product during the hottest part of the day, around 2pm, but they were smart enough to set out a huge cooler of ice water! The pro shop has cold drinks and the bar is fully stocked too!

If you stop and have lunch, the food is FANTASTIC, more importantly, will not break the bank! Everything was reasonably priced.

My second time through helped me on this course. A couple of tricky holes where understanding layup areas are key. Course was in great shape considering all the rain we have gotten recently. Traps were a bit on the hard side but to be expected with said rain. Staff is always pleasant and welcoming. All in all a fun place to play!

This track never disappoints only issue maintenance guy on greens on a couple

of holes but upside at least they’re taking care of it many courses in area can’t say that, love this place recommend to anyone.

Just aerated on the 6th. Was not a problem putting. Price was good probably due to the aerating. Have played here many times and have never seen the tees in quite this bad of condition. Also saw several weeds in the greens which is odd as they have always been in superb condition. This may be because of the lack of

water we've had and then the deluge in the last few weeks. Great track and I'll be back in hopes they have restored this wonderful course to its earlier condition.

I played CC Mt Dora because it has been in excellent shape every time I played before. This time was disappointing. The greens were generally OK, but often a bit bumpy with bare spots. Fairways were hit and miss. And a couple of tee boxes were badly chewed. One reassuring thing was a section of #3 fairway roped off as ground under repair, indicating that the greenskeeper was aware that the course needs work.
