About
The brilliant Terry LaGree design harmonizes with spectacular scenery to create Royal Oaks -- a unique and picturesque course. Powder sand bunkers dot undulating fairways lined by stately oaks and shimmering water. The course, part of the Audubon system, has preserved mature trees and native vegetation, making it a sanctuary for migratory birds and an unmatched setting for your game. The 6,650-yard par 72 course features four tee boxes on every hole. The front nine is characterized by rolling fairways with up to 35-foot elevation changes, lined with tall Slash Pines and Blue Jack Oaks. The back nine features an open meadow appearance with stands of stately live oaks shading some of the greens. Generous landing areas reward well-placed shots.

good course for the money
Nice layout, course is in good condition, greens were slow, staff friendly.
When I CHECKED IN they didn't have cart.People I was to play with did not show?I was sent to 1st tee to play with couple who were halfway down 1st fairway.After rocky start the course seemed in good shape.Fairways were rough in some areas, greens in good shape.
Course is in good condition
Good pace of play. Fairways an d greens well manicured. Friendly staff got us out quickly even though we ran late for our tee time.
Over all
Very friendly staff, great layout, greens in pretty good shape, t-boxes need work, another couple of weeks the fairways should be in better shape.

Enjoyed the course. On course staff not the most friendly. Greens and fairways good. Rough rough.
Tee boxes beat up but flat. Tough finishing hole. !9th hole not open on Mondays. Not perfect but not much is in this price range. Would play again.
Great greens and bunkers
This course has great greens not super fast but they run as they should . The bunkers where in great shape and the staff is truly excellent.
Nice menu and restaurant plus staff is very polite and professional.

What a great staff (pro shop and starters, etc). Course was in great condition and the rain stopped. What more could you ask for?

Can’t go wrong for the money course has lots of character and better than average conditions . A lot of interesting risk reward. Will go back next week greens putted great
Over the Hill Gang Rocks
I was fortunate enough to join a group of regulars and had a great time. I even won closest to the pin. Left the money behind to help pay for their beer.
The course is in good shape The greens are true and quick enough. Fairways are coming along.
Play it and if the gang asks you to join in, don't be a fool and say no.
The greens are good but fairways are getting a little bare,needs aeration and fertilizer to get the grass growing

I gave this course an overall rating as GOOD+ The fairways are not in the best of conditions and that is only because of the winter weather, however I believe that in about 3 weeks the course should be a 5 star course. I will play it then and let you know. Play the course I'm sure you will have a good time.

The coarse was in good shape. Very challenging and greens were in good shape for the price it was very good
