Royal Oaks Golf Club
About
The brilliant Terry LaGree design harmonizes with spectacular scenery to create Royal Oaks -- a unique and picturesque course. Powder sand bunkers dot undulating fairways lined by stately oaks and shimmering water. The course, part of the Audubon system, has preserved mature trees and native vegetation, making it a sanctuary for migratory birds and an unmatched setting for your game. The 6,650-yard par 72 course features four tee boxes on every hole. The front nine is characterized by rolling fairways with up to 35-foot elevation changes, lined with tall Slash Pines and Blue Jack Oaks. The back nine features an open meadow appearance with stands of stately live oaks shading some of the greens. Generous landing areas reward well-placed shots.

Nice course to play
The course is in excellent shape. Has a nice layout only one hole with water. The course is in the best shape I seen in years. Over seeded all fairways and greens plus tee boxes. Greens are near perfect all holes. Great value for your money. Staff very friendly to.

Back Again
Royal Oaks is a great course and always well maintained. The staff is friendly and the Golf Now rates are very good.
We had a fine round with perfect golf weather on a great course. What more can I say. We will play this course again in the near future.
very enjoyable

Royal Oaks in fantastic shape
Course in great shape. Wasn’t really crowded but the pace of play was a tad slow. We did get waved ahead by the slower foursome so the back nine went quicker.
I hope
This is a good test of golf and a fun course to play, it has not been kept up in the past but it is better this season, still needs some TLC and I am hoping that it gets it and continues to improve, when I played the greens were nice but very slow and need to be cut a bit, still worth playing.
Worth Every Penny
Great footprint....Greens were spectacular.....I Gave the course a star for Staff Friendliness.....That being said the Shop Assistant Very Friendly....But the guy who makes the Place was the Starter....By far the best In OCALA......of course what's sad is, The Golf Professional.....She's about as Friendly as Barracuda....I played here years ago and her personality has not changed....Made Eye contact with all of us in our group....from behind the counter.....NOT ONE WORD....Sad..... that she as aPGA or LPGA professional has that attitude.....remember I'm one of the little guys who help make you a living.....saying hello never killed anyone in GOLF..........
Royal Oaks
I always enjoy playing here with the great layout, great condition of the course, and such a great value.
Beautiful Day
Play was a little slow. Everyone was friendly and cooperative. Course was in very good conditions, Nice, fast greens. Very nice day/
Nice layout and variety of challenge
Greens in top condition and fairly easy to read.
Friendly helpful staff.
Fall
I am sorry to see fall come to this area. The oak trees are dropping their leaves and they are blowing all over the course. you can hit the ball in the fairway and loose the ball under the leaves. you must keep your eyes on where you hit it or you may not find it. Irma damage is still in the roughs and lots of leaves there. Otherwise it is a nice place to play at. Weeds are on some greens and dollar weeds on the tees.
