Grand Cypress - North/South

We arrived 90 minutes early to eat and hit balls. Food was good

Service fair. We then went to hit balls and could not get any carts. No thanks I was not interested in lugging my bag to the range and back so we stood waiting for carts which we finally got 5 minutes after our tee time. The East course is a main highway for anyone staying on site so watch out for walkers and joggers. When on the 9th hole two shuttle carts pulled up and we had 12 to 15 people walking around in front of us in the middle of the fairway with no regard for people playing, these people were being lead around by staff from the course or golf academy. We spent over $500.00 for that, never again.

This course was great!! Loved it!! 5 star facility !

First time playing this course, and found it very enjoyable. Fairways are fairly open, greens are in good shape and a few elevated greens make those holes more challenging. Miss having GPS on the carts and some of the tee boxes were marked rather small. However, overall a good course for the Money here in Orlando.

Geeens were slow. Course is too much for the quality

This course was recommended by a fellow foursome we met in Orlando. Our foursome were under welmed at the east west course. The greens were slowish. The layout uninteresting and unimaginative. It’s probably are worthy track if you’re fresh off the plane and haven’t played in a couple of months. It doesn’t compare very favourably with other golf courses in the same price range.

This was a very nice course with excellent conditions. Very well maintained, very challenging and a joy to play. Well done Jack Nicklaus. A little pricey, however a great valentines treat. We also enjoyed the restaurant after our round. We highly recommend the beer batterered fish and chips.

East 9.. the most difficult

We breezed through this place and truly enjoyed if for 15 holes. Then we hit a roadblock on the tee box of #16 where golfers were on the tee box, in the fairway, and on the green. It took us three hours as a two-some to play 15 holes and and hour to play the last three. Beautiful course, friendly staff, very nice greens...not too fast but certainly not slow.

The course was in great shape and offered a variety of different holes and looks to play. Also had a good group from Boston I played with early in the morning, very enjoyable. Greens were in great shape and were true, and not overly fast.

Played the East and south nines in that order. Vastly different from one another. The east’s nines greens, which were not recently punched, were really slow. Probably rolling at an 8. The south nine was recently punched and the greens were sanded. Rolled a little quicker than the east and was a little better. Pro shop staff didn’t say anything and there was no information about course maintenance at time of booking which was 3 days before the round. I paid just over $100 while my partner payed $55. Worst course on my trip and not even close to the 4 star plus rating. Book elsewhere.

Played the the North to South course today, played the first nine in a hour 45 minutes great pace we had a foursome never caught the group in front of us and the group behind us never caught up to us, so we make the turn and there are 4 groups waiting on the tee box . I asked the starter what’s going on and he says well they have tee times? I said we are making the turn and he says again they have a tee time. So are we just have to wait the groups in front of us we’re begginer and it took us 3 hours to play the. Back 9 . Terrible planning on tee times

Nice course layouts but mediocre conditions. Slowest greens in Orlando area we played all week. Some tees were in rough shape as well. Probably worth $75 if you can book a Hot Deal (rates were $134 the day we played)
