Grand Cypress - North/South

Played here with a hot deal. Upon arrival very impressed with bag drop, but entering golf shop it felt chaotic. Check in was easy, but was left a little to fend for myself.

Went to bag drop and had to stand there until eventually I flagged a staff member to help. Again chaotic.

The starter was a shambles! Hadn’t a clue what was happening, then chased us down the first for a “cart issue”. Made us feel very unwelcome and think he forgot who was PAYING to play!

Issues aside, Course was in good condition and played the north and south layouts. Good resort course with some tricky holes, especially on south course.

Would play here again, but feel the service recurved wasn’t to the standard I would have expected for $70.

Always worth playing Grand Cypress. Had not played since the "heyday" years of golf but it's still well worth it! Though I think the green fees today are a third of what they were back then! Played the North South, typical Nicklaus layouts , lots of room to hit the ball off the tee, smallish undulating elevated greens with many shelve tops. Fun fair course lots of tees to choose from. In pretty good shape overall, very good service. Worth playing again.

Whenever we get the chance we play Grand Cypress. No matter which of the three courses we choose to play, we always enjoy our rounds of golf. The south course is the most difficult.

The course was in great condition! The experience was very enjoyable. The staff was congenial and the pace of play was quick...finished in 4 hours! I would definitely recommend this course to others.

we've been here three days and we've already played the North,-South, East and the new links course. The only complaint we had was with the East course bunkers. they could definitely use more sand but we could have stayed out of them then we wouldn't have had to worry about ithem.

Good shape, a few strange holes on the South Course. Typical Nicklaus greens with lots of movement. Ranger wasn't the friendliest guy but no real issue. Played as a single and enjoyed the scenery and pace of play was just over 4 hours which is more than acceptable for Orlando.

we had a great morning on the South/ East course that actually we prefer to the New Course that we found boring ... The S/E is simply fantastic. The course was in great condition and the overall experience was five stars! We missed the cart lady who only passed once ... but no big deal. She missed a good tip!

I will come back and play this course again!

My wife and I played the South-East course and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The course is in great shape and the pace of play was enjoyable (right at four hours). The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Special tip of the hat to assistant pro Thomas, who made us feel very welcome! Great course, staff, amenities. Don’t miss Grand Cypress when visiting Orlando.

Excellent course in great condition. However the play is very slow, with no one checking to see pace of play is decent. A round of over 5 hours is not any fun. We waited on almost every shot . They also need more parking space

We were so well looked after, for mid handicap golfers a perfect course. Thanks for a great day out [ we were playing with a member].

Played two weeks in a row and pace of play was excellent both times. No waiting and no pushing.

Challenging golf course. My wife and I played the South/East, Upon arriving, the bag drop attendant was friendly and offered free valet parking. The pro shop staff were ok. Not great but not bad, just indifferent.

After paying, we went down to our cart and the person there was very friendly and welcoming.

After a few minutes warming up we went off to the first tee being greeted by a friendly starter.

We had the first tee paired up with a nice young man. We finished in 3 hours 20 minutes. Would have been faster had we not been held up on the 4th hole East by a threesome. No complaints.

Had a beer and soup and when we went to pick up our clubs, another attendant, Ed from Chicago was awesome. Ga e us tips on where to visit and shop. He offered us a cart to bring our clubs to our car and would pick up the cart after we were done. Now that’s service.

First time playing this course and found nit to be a delight. Will be back again. Greens were in great shape, fairways in good condition. Staff were very nice and helpful. Thanks for making the first golf outing of the year a great success.

Course had an end of year special so all rounds were $50 instead of the typical $100+. At $50 this is absolutely perfect and a great deal. At $100 it is good.great but not amazing.

i played this course last year the aminities was great there were apples and oranges on the tee stops but now there were none there was an ice and water machine before but now there wad none.. but the course was ok . i wud stiil recomend the course...
