The 18-hole River Bend Golf Club in Ormond Beach, FL is a semi-private golf course that opened in 1990. Designed by Lloyd Clifton, River Bend Golf Club measures 6821 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 72.7 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
At River Bend, designer Lloyd Clifton achieved his ultimate goal -- a perfect blend of natural surroundings combined with a competitive and scenic golf course layout. With no home sites, River Bend is situated along the historic Tomoka River. Play among majestic oaks, red cedars, pines and magnolias. Each hole is unique. Hole No. 8 is a long par 5, 616 yards. Hole No. 17 is a picturesque 3 par. No water is featured. A definite must for those who enjoy a blend of competitive golf and nature's offerings.

Amazing how people complain about weeds on tee box......Does that really affect your game????? You dont have large tees???? Maybe you should blame your 400$ driver that youre incapable of hitting!!!!....just sayin!! Welcome to summer golf in Florida!!!

Greens and tee box
I have played this course 4 times now. The first I was highly impressed with the course the greens were good fairways I loved the layout was impressive. 2nd time as well got mine and my parties perk range balls. 3 rd time I was thinking the course needed some TLC. Today when we played I brought friends to have them play a fun and challenging course. The greens were terrible, tee boxes were nothing but weeds and the cart parts were in very bad shape. So for the most part I will not spend $30 to play there again. Also I had to plead to get my range balls that were suppose to be included with the price we paid for the round.

nice course
I like this course, don't have to search for your balls as there is plenty of fairway, Riding to you tress you can just picture dinosaurs coming thru the brush as it has a Jurassic park feel to it. The greens are a little rough in places and some burn out grasses around. But overall a fun time was had.

Get a grip people
Another great day......anyone who complains about the greens,doesnt know florida golf....this is how they are in the summer!!! Golf is about adapting to changing conditions.....maybe y'all should practice more!!

Social Distancing
I was very upset that I was told I would have to share a cart or pay $5 to ride alone. They have 2 signs saying social distancing is strictly enforced, so why do I have to share a cart? The course itself has seen better days. Most of the greens had patches of weeds which is not very good when trying to put. I have played this course for 5 years and have never had staff members be a rude as the person and the pro shop desk and the the person assigning carts.

Riverbend Golf
The greens were aerated almost two weeks ago and have not repaired it self even with all of the rain. Some of the greens show A few bad areas. This is one of my favorite courses but it need some work. Not worth Forty Dollars.

Good course great value
This is a great course for the money just keep your arms and legs inside the card. Cart paths take you through the natural landscape of Florida!!
