Twin Rivers Golf Club
About
At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

Twin Rivers
The course was in fairly good shape but the pace of play was very slow
Rio Pinar
Under new management the course is being upgraded to the likes of Lake Nona Country Club
I don’t like the course
I live 15 minutes away and play this course maybe six times a year ….it is really hard, it is a jungle course. If you go off the fairways, forget finding your ball ….lots of water to carry …..the greens they’ve been putting some kind of a weed killer on them and so it’s it’s rough is it is very hard to putt…. don’t play there for a while. I played there yesterday and got rained out and wasn’t disappointed that I got to leave.
Better every time
Conditions really coming around. Tees and fairways/rough as good as I've seen. Greens coming around. Can't beat it for the price right now.
No water
No water at the water spots is kind of inexcusable in Central Florida in July. Great layout some of the greens are in rough shape with weeds overall not bad and will play again.
Greens
Course layout is really nice, fairways great, greens are not good.
Not what it’s been
The course was in pretty bad shape. Dead spots all over the fairways, the greens were in below average shape, and the pace of play was terrible. Definitely not worth the price this last time.
Greens incredibly slow
Not sure whats going on with the greens here but they were the slowest greens I have ever played. On the back there were a couple that rolled a little better but overall the greens are so bad that I would not recommend this course to anyone else. Not only are they slow but they have way too many species of grass growing on the greens as well. Probably all but 5 are really frustrating to putt on. Couldn't get the ball to the hole for anything.. fun layout, you will lose balls on this course!
Very difficult
This is a nice course… very difficult ….water to carry ….jungles on the edges of the Fairways. I live close by and only play a few times a year because it usually beats me up pretty bad ….yesterday I think I broke 100 for the first time with four pars, that’s how tough it is at least for me and I’m normally a mid 90s golfer almost anywhere I go…. so not for beginners …no offense probably not for short hitting people …Worth checking out. You probably won’t like it.
Need a cart out on the course, especially when you have temps in 90's, people need hydration no matter what the beverage of choice. Thats why you should allow a cooler for water, gatorade etc. Golf is great but not worth me having a heat induced stroke.
Not Great
I've played Twin Rivers several times before and have to say this was the worst condition I've encountered. The fairways were good, but the greens were very sandy. Maybe they were recently aerated, but that should be made public knowledge. Many of the bunkers had puddles in them and not nearly enough sand. Basically they were like hard mud.
As I said earlier, I've enjoyed playing this course in the past. I'm going to chalk this outing to bad timing, as far as the condition of the course.
Greens are sand
Greens on the front nine are basically sand traps. My friend and I stopped putting and just picked up the ball when we got to the greens. Everything else is ok.
Not like last time
The greens were slow and bumpy. Had to hit a 10 foot putt like it was a 20 footer. The cups hadn’t been cut in weeks. It was like playing Plinko on The price is right. The greens are normally quick and nice to putt. But not yesterday. Extremely disappointing. Won’t be going back until the greens are good.
