Twin Rivers Golf Club
About
At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

Greens are a mess
Second time playing Twin Rivers and the layout is amazing But weeds got into their greens and they had to apply weed killer and most of their 18 greens are unplayable This was not mentioned when I booked Fairways were in good shape considering the amount of rain over night Doug , a ranger on the course was fantastic Props to Doug for his efforts and hospitality Girlfriend attends UCF and I wanted to take her to see her University’s course But we will wait before we go back and will definitely call to check condition of greens next time
Twin Rivers is a challenging course with a very fun layout, but the greens are destroyed. We are warned about it by the starter but it’s criminal to charge what they do knowing the greens are that bad. Putting through brown craters. Would love to golf here again, but don’t plan to for the price until the greens are worked out. Otherwise the course was phenomenal. Don’t miss the fairways.
The starter and rangers were very nice to us but were weirdly focused on the group ahead of us, which were apparently teenagers. They kept a good pace and never held us up once. The rangers drove by a few times asking us if they’re causing issues and rode up on them a few times. It was just kind of weird.
Usually a nice course but it should be a federal crime to charge what they’re charging with the shape the course is currently in.
Challenging course, awful conditions.
This is one of my favorite layouts in Orlando. Provides a challenge to any golfer and is truly fun to play when in good shape.
Being said, it’s in awful shape.
The greens are the worst offenders, with long unkept grass and spots everywhere. They look and feel ugly. The bunkers are clearly not taken care of and there is dead grass everywhere. If you get a good deal on this course, you may enjoy it. However the conditions of it are abysmal.
What’s truly unfortunate is that the UCF practice facility is in perfect condition. There is a well kept haven for them in the middle of the torn and beat dog track that was once a phenomenal gem in the Orlando area.
Management please reconsider how you care for the course to make it something worth being proud of once again. This is the worst shape the course has been in in years.
Just don't play after rain.
Great course, very fun, it's just so wet. It seems like it's a foot below the water level in Central Florida. I've lost balls that I hit straight into the middle of the fairway. The greens were junk last week. Of course, that's a temporary thing. Just awful though.
Greens are awfuk
Greens are absolutely terrible compare to rounds I’ve played here in the past. There should be a warning or discount when it is in this condition.
Greens need some serious attention.
Have played Twin Rivers for many years and I’ve always love the layout and it’s a challenging course. The greens are in pretty bad shape and don’t seem to be getting any better. I will say the fairways where pretty good with a nice layer of thick Bermuda which was a plus. The older gentleman that checked us in at the pro shop was very friendly and funny. That was a pleasant experience.
I hope they put some money into the greens as it has the potential to be a very nice golf course.
Another Overpriced Golf Outing
In the heat of the summer, it's not unusual for courses to be distressed. The greens were bad, a couple which had been mowed, looked like the grounds keepers used a weed wacker rather than a lawn mower. Not a fan of Twin Rivers.
Very Nice
The course was in great shape.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The greens are in terrible condition
Greens are terrible, no such thing as a pure roll. It’s like hundreds of unprepared pitch marks, but I suspect there are other factors. Bugs, birds, etc?
The course is challenging.
Avoid this course on Saturdays. The pace of play is atrocious. The whites have a high and accurate slope of 139, which is among the highest in the area. In short the course is tough, the rough is very penalizing and you will wait on each and every shot during a grueling 5.5 hours. Btw the greens are about to be lost as they are in terrible shape. To the owners trim the rough before the weekend so maybe rounds can be completed in about 5 hours. I’ll never play here again on a weekend.
Good Layout
Challenging layout. Good fairways but the greens need work. Rough was very deep making it very difficult for the intermediate golfer. Based on the large number of balls I found in the rough during this round I suspect many golfers had some frustrating experiences playing this course
These Greens SUCK
I was in town for work and thought I would play a round, even though it was very hot. Course layout was challenging, however the greens were a disgrace. I would never have paid that much, If I knew. It's evident that a failure to repair ballmarks has led to weeds or some alternative grass to grow. The cups were painted, indicating a tournament recently, but I can't imagine a tournament playing on greens like that. Sad part is, the fairways were great.
What a shame
This course has become unplayable. The greens were slow and bumpy. The holes looked like they were in the same spot for weeks. Not that long ago , this place was a nice place to play for the money. What a quick decline. Charging 50 bucks for a round of golf here is high way robbery.
