1 & 10 at University Park Country Club

3 nines. Busy course but play moves. Conditions are very good. They are replacing the irrigation system but is not interrupting play.

Outstanding in every way. Paired with 2 members that could not have been any nicer.

Course and staff excellent but the greens were ridiculously slow

Beautiful course and in pristine conditions. Pace of play was perfect staff extremely friendly. Was almost late due to Monday morning traffic and staff was understanding and accommodating. 3rd time playing here and always make a point to get a round in while I’m on vacation.

Great golf course in great condition. Unfortunately price went up 50% from last year.

The course was in great shape, the fairways were nice and the greens rolled true. I loved the layout, however it was lucky I played with a couple of members. There were a few holes where you need to hit you tee shot in a certain area to have a good look at the green.

The pace of play was pretty slow, we were waiting on every hole. There was a Par 3 where there were 3 groups on the hole. They have 8-minute tee times so a 4 1/2 - 5 hour round is inevitable.

I only have one "complaint". I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get a round in while I was in Sarasota so I didn't bring my clubs and had to rent a set. I went to the bag drop and asked for a rental and the guys just grabbed a set of clubs and put them on a cart, he didn't ask anything about my game. The set I got was a nice set of Cobra's however, the set was fitted for a 24+ handicap (I'm an 8). The highest iron was a 7-iron and it had a 5 and 6-hybrid, clubs I don't own and have never hit. It took me most of the front 9 to figure out how to hit the clubs (even after a bucket on the range). I never got used to the high bounce SW.

Maybe they could have more options for rental clubs.

Course in great condition. Unfortunately Wednesday is league day. The league goes out early morning and this affects pace of play All day. Our group had to wait on every tee box, resulting in a 4:30 round.

Unlucky with the course receiving two inches of rain the day before we played. It was cart path only that helped make this 4.5 to 5 hour round. It was extremely annoying we had to continue changing GPS screens that kept informing us we were 10 minutes behind because of cart path only. Beverage cart was available on hole 3 only. Its one of the best courses in this area and for $175 its expected. The traffic in this area is having me rethink playing in this area and with the amount of new construction this is not going to get better.

Decent course. Not many interesting holes. Staff was fantastic. In good shape
