1 & 10 at University Park Country Club

A day of golf that was as Good as it can be. Weather, great design, outstanding course condition, perfect pace of play. Great customer service from bag drop, pro shop and restaurant.

I will change the trajectory of my life to become a member of this club. All of my goals now lead to that end. What a fantastic golfing experience!

Top Notch in all categories. Greeted and helped by friendly staff from club drop to pro shop check-in to starter. Very nice range facility including pitching/chipping area (balls a bit worn). Starter got me off a bit earlier than my tee time and as a foursome we completed our round in 4 hours (with a 10-15 min delay to wait out (and stay dry) a storm cell. Good mix of straight, dogleg, long and short holes. Lots of bunkers and waste areas—some of which are more in play than others. Played holes 1-9 and 19-27. Holes 1-9 fairways seemed to be much tighter than on holes 19-27. Teeing grounds, fairways and greens were all in excellent condition—fairways were recently verticut but I felt no noticeable detraction of lie or playability—ball sits up nicely. Greens were very receptive and rolled true and we’re maintained at a reasonable speed (9-10ft on stimpmeter as a guess). A few holes required carries over water and/or waste areas so choose your tees wisely. Six tee sets offer challenges for both long and short hitters. The clubhouse/restaurant includes a nice patio area to enjoy a meal after playing and a snack bar to grab.a sandwich/drink between nines. No unnecessary COVID restrictions although postings required masks for non-vaccinated patrons. Drinking water and ice was available on the course. Very enjoyable day—I’d highly recommend playing the course—and my next time in town I’ll be sure to play here again. I took advantage of a Golf Now Hot Deal and was able to play at less than half the price of usual green fees (which were already very reasonable for a top-notch course in excellent condition).

The staff was great from the time we arrived to our departure. They were all friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable.

This course is a real gem. We played two of the three no lines. The condition of the tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens was A-1.

This is truly the best course I have played in Florida and I play a lot of golf around FL. I will be back on this course every time I’m in the area and will arrange my travel to make sure I am. Thank you to everybody that works at the club.

From the minute you pull in you can see the views. This is a first class course , range , putting green , chipping area, pro shop and some of the best chow you will eat in the clubhouse. First class crews on site and the staff are excellent. I liked it so much , I have decided to join .

There’s only a few great golf courses in the area, and University Park is one of them! Top shelf all around...
