Desert Willow Golf Course

Have golfed this course numerous times. Excellent place to fine tune your short irons and hybrid clubs. Recently went with an amateur friend and our two-some finished well under 3 hours. Highly recommended for high handicappers or beginners who want to learn on very open and forgiving fairways! My beginner friend was constantly hitting onto adjacent fairways just to hit back onto the correct fairway; that scenario is routinely unlikely on other Vegas courses.

Wow this was my first time playing at Desert Willow 18 hole executive course, right from the Pro shop they were so friendly and welcoming, I was able to drive the golf cart to my car and load up,the starter was on time,the pace of play was really good not to fast,not to slow,the course is very open and it hard to lose your ball,all thou on the first hole you need to hit straight or drift to the left because on the right the driving range is right there and if you ball goes past line you lost your ball or possibly get hit by people on the driving range.

The views are spectacular, I so happy I retired in the golf community.

Greens in good shape, tee boxes need to be leveled, more sand needed in most bunkers.. good track though..

I love this course, yes, its an executive course, the short length makes it fast and fun, great for players of all skills…the greens, there is the challenge even for those looking to finish under par. Usually fast…fair…but how good is your green reading…play here and test your ability to read a break or 18.

It was in great shape, from Tee to Green, friendly staff, solid facilities….and I always play with the nicest people…we have played here for 15 years…and we actually live/play on another great course in town…but Desert Willow stays in the rotation.

Executive coarse that’s in great shape, solid greens, friendly staff and good food

Greens were perfect and challenging. Fairways were a little spotty in a few areas. Sand traps were actually soft, better than many other courses. Got rained out at 9th hole. They offered 9 holes vouchers which was very generous. Anybody would like this course.

First time playing this course after having frequented the excellent practice areas several times. Course is well maintained and our pace of play was speedy for a weekday afternoon in beautiful weather. Greens fees can’t be beat in the Vegas valley.

A nice par 60 layout for a great price. Great to get out and play a fast game. Forces you to use your irons and chip shots more on this course. Overall good condition, and great value for money.

The greens were in good shape, punched recently so they were a bit sandy and bumpy. Still a great course and a fun walkable course.

There's little differentiation between the fairway and the rough here - the grass is the same cut, the rough has more dry patches. Tee boxes are not cut short enough, was challenging to find a flat part of the tee box. Tees were in awful locations in the tee box.

The course is lacking water in important parts (tee boxes, center of "fairway"). The bunker on #2 did not have enough sand in it. The website said the greens would be "healed by the 11th".... I played on the 10th... judge for yourself.

Layout wasn't long enough for long hitters. The par 4's were under 340 from the tips, and only 3 of the par 3's were more than a wedge. Hole #9 and #18 had challenging approaches over water.

Course is too dry to play. Hardly any green grass on the fairways.

I don't play very often and haven't played for 2 years; this is a terrific executive course to get back in the groove.
