Desert Willow Golf Course

Like to work wedges and short irons? Like the spice of hitting the driver 6 times ? Great surfaces and greens are above average . Enjoy a 3 hour or less round of great pitching chipping and putting !

6 par 4 and the rest par 3 . Plenty of effort keeping the course in good shape .

Front 9 seems a little tougher than the back but a real nice chance to practice short irons and wedges. Putting is a good time .

This course is literally down the street from my residence. Its a fun and challenging course with a warm & friendly staff. ( genuinely!) i enjoy this course even in a triple digit temperature as well as score. They have cool towels , ice and a mobile bar( golf cart liquor server) who is professionally attentive.

I will always golf here as long as i am able. 🏁💯

Unlike years past, All of the staff are friendly and accommodative

Courses well kept. However, the greens are playing very fast I still don’t understand why you wanna have pro level speed greens On an executive course. It’s nice. They were receptive to approach shots and they were not bouncing off when hitting the green on your approach.

In fact, some of my approaches even spun back, I like that

Great Staff in the clubhouse and around the course. Customer Service #1 goal. Look forward to playing again on my next trip to Las Vegas.

I booked an "afternoon" tee time (not a "twilight" tee) on Golfnow. Nowhere on Golfnow did they mention the course closes at 7pm regardless of having 90 min of daylight left. So I booked it and paid in full on Golfnow. So when I hit 17 and the marshal came to us and said we have to head in, I was confused. It was only 6:40. We got to 18 by 6:50 and the marshal drove his cart out to the middle of the fairway and would not let my girl hit on the very last tee. I argued with him telling him I was not told the BS when I paid, on Golfnow. They didn't care at all. They kicked us off the course with a half hole left. This is the worst golf course for the public to play in all of Las Vegas. Stay away, save your money.

Had a great time playing Desert Willow. I didn't want to play a regulation course, just wanted to get out and work on my irons. Greens in great shape, consistent.

The weather for the day was extreme in that it was 109 degrees and fairly humid. Everyone we encountered was extremely concerned about the heat and how we would handle it offering us additional ice and towels. They were very helpful under these conditions.

Course was great. We started early. Pace of play was perfect. We didn’t wait for the group in front of us at all and the group behind us was a hole behind. Grass was greener than ever and greens were very nice. Pretty awesome day other than the heat!
