Desert Willow Golf Course

Excellent condition for the price, pace of play was spot on, doesn’t feel or play like and executive course, plays like normal course. Greens are great and true.

Course itself was fine, and the one star staff rating excludes the nice lady in the pro shop who took our money and assigned us a cart - she was the only positive about the experience.

My friend and I pull up to the first tee five minutes early and the cliche starter type says we're late and the other two in our group got impatient and went ahead. He also says "Do you know the rules here?!" "Is the first rule that five minutes early is late?!?" He then proceeds to read us the riot act and other rules. We catch up to the other two in our group, a couple older ladies (more walking cliches), who seemed bewildered that two people were joining them (ladies, your coy schtick might've worked in the 60's, it's 2024 and we see right through you), and all day they're walking up to the greens and taking their three putts while we're waiting to hit our approach pitches.

One of them asks "Will you come back to our little course again?" "Only if you're here, sweetheart" That was another thing, I don't know if this place used to be private and recently opened to the public but there was a lot of "Our course" talk going on.

For the way everyone on the first tee acted you would've thought this would be the fastest round of our lives... nope. Slower than molasses. Group in front of us constantly unprepared for their shots and taking their sweet time getting back in their carts (talking about you especially, red shirt guy). The only missing cliche was a marshall telling them to keep pace. They're never there when you need them, huh? This place is one of those ok for me but not for thee courses.

I'll be back when they get acquired after "their" precious par 4 course turns into a ghost town and the old guard "ages out."

Posted in several locations all throughout the clubhouse that all players are to return by 5:30pm. You’re not informed until teeing off that you have to have the carts in at 4:40pm, almost a full hour before THEIR OWN posted times.

Great day on the course. No waiting on any hole. Very firm greens. Everything else was great.

The course was in great shape yesterday. Greens were fast and fairways and around the greens were immaculate

Would highly recommend. The only thing they could do to make it better is to redo all the traps with some real sand.

We had a great time, and the service was great from start to finish. Course was well maintained, cart girl came around enough times, everyone was very friendly. I will be back.

They have just concluded overseeding. The course is in awesome shape. Greens are receptive.

Hate when I’m not told ahead of purchasing my round that it is cart path only!!!! Course is in great condition, greens were soft, putting was true. Beverage cart was very good , making rounds.

The course was in great shape. Cart path only was designated on the day I played. Not notified when booking the round. The marshal came to us several times about pace of play. Yet we were 2 holes ahead of the group behind us.

It’s always a battle in Southern Nevada and keeping green surfaces at the end of summer. That being said DW keeps a great executive course in great shape .

Over all very cool the balance between 6 holes that are par 4 and the par 3 challenges . A few copycat holes but over all a fun challenge the whole track.

Like to work wedges and short irons? Like the spice of hitting the driver 6 times ? Great surfaces and greens are above average . Enjoy a 3 hour or less round of great pitching chipping and putting !

6 par 4 and the rest par 3 . Plenty of effort keeping the course in good shape .

Front 9 seems a little tougher than the back but a real nice chance to practice short irons and wedges. Putting is a good time .

This course is literally down the street from my residence. Its a fun and challenging course with a warm & friendly staff. ( genuinely!) i enjoy this course even in a triple digit temperature as well as score. They have cool towels , ice and a mobile bar( golf cart liquor server) who is professionally attentive.

I will always golf here as long as i am able. 🏁💯
