There are many areas on the fairways that are without grass and need to be grassed over. The greens were also very slow and high. Could be adapted for the weekends when there are many players on the course.

Play this course every year.

Everything was good for our round.

Pace of play was good.

Overall an okay course somewhat challenging, but fun layout. Slow play, waited to tee off on almost every hole, but heard from the locals that this was not normal, especially it being a monday.. Fairways ok some weeds here and there. Ball landed in one sand trap and was wet with puddles near ball, so didn't try to swing, so not sure if other traps were like this. Some greens needed repairs but most in good shape, but were slow. Lots of geese lounging on course so watch out for all of the bird poop.

Course in great shape. The greens are very slow. It took me a while to get used to that. Pace of play was great.

I am thinking this golf course is either just completed aeration or very close to be aerated since the green and fairway grass are very awful. We played this course in the past several times, it was very nice, but not this time.

The staff was very good and knowledgeable, howerver the honeymoon is over at this point.

The entire golf course is in horrible condition. The greens are un-puttable with patches everywhere including dead course grass deep depressions not suitable for a smooth putt anywhere. There goose droppings all over the as well ( maybe they are using this to fertilize the greens.) The fairways and tee boxes looks like Nellis airfore base was using them for bombing pratice. No drinking water anywhere to be found and no cart girl out there to sell drinks. The parking lot is a long walk to the pro shop as well, there is a sign that says do not leave your clubs at the club drop-off area. I do not recommend you waste your time and money on this warzone.

I was playing with a group of friends who are not great at golf. This course was great for that, however ,the greens are terrible. They are brown and look like they haven't had a mow in a long time. Plus, you need to clear a ton of geese poop on the greens before you putt. The fairways were decent and there were some challenging holes. The staff was especially friendly.

Average course , nothing crazy. Was there on a Saturday and pace of play was extremely slow and painful. Never saw a marshall or cart girl the entire round. Ended up skipping last 3 holes due to play time. Almost 5 hours to play 16.

I've played this course several times and their service has gone to the dumps! From the pro-shop staff to the cart barn girl, everyone has an attitude. It's unreal.

I waited several rounds to see if it was an anomaly, but no, consistently bad service. No bar cart driving either and No water on the course?

Finally the starter has to check your cart number and your receipt 2-3 times before you can go.

So, as the title said, if it's free....i guess I would play here again.

The course was in MEH shape, but I'll give them a pass since it's late in the summer and possible overseeding.

Course was wide open apart from disc golfers in front of us. About 8 left right before us and took forever. They had no clue where they were suppose to go the whole time. We finally passed the first big group and kept running into clueless disc golfers. Seemed the disc golf holes were very unorganized.

Wildhorse was a nice track with plenty of challenge. First fairway had debris from flooding but rest of course was in good shape. Greens were a tad slow and provided deceptive putting. I would give Wildhorse another go!

I've always enjoyed the layout of this track. I am making considerations for the fact that they are currently prepping for overseed. It is actually in better shape than the local reputation says.

Many of the holes are challenging. The layout is excellent and fun. Unfortunately, basic maintenance on the course is lacking. While the tee boxes are dead/dying for overseeding (no big deal), the fairways and greens are mostly in okay shape. Some dead areas, which happens. They obviously use as little water as they possibly can, evidenced by the fact that very few shots leave any sort of ball mark on the green, though the greens are slow. Everything off of the main part of the course (tees, fairways, greens) is grossly lacking. A great example is that every palm tree hasn't been trimmed in 5 years minimum, same for all of the other trees. Lots of large dead grass areas.

It's a shame, because a bit of attention and investment would make this a premier course again that people want to play (and are willing to pay more) with the excellent layout.

It's city owned, so yeah, little hope. It's a pretty good value for under $40
