NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
The worst golf course in America!!!! Enough said.... : - (
I'm a local and I play this course often.
Currently the greens are very poor and extremely slow (due to sand on the surface)
Beginner golfer
Been playing here now about once a week. Conditions vary greatly depending on season. Varied conditions add to the learning experience. Only been to a handful of courses
Not worth it
For 95 dollars in the middle of the day, 90 plus degrees, terrible course
Lance is the man
Had a great round. Starter Lance was very helpful and promised us a 3 hr round, he was spot on. Course was fun.
Most Goose Poop Per Capita Than Any Other Course
The course is fun to play, but be careful when taking a step because it’s like a minefield of goose crap. I had to tiptoe on the range and practice green to make sure I didn’t get any on my shoes.
Beat up course...sadly
Played today with a few buddies. You can tell the course was once a magnificent course, but has fallen on tough times. Greens were often dirt or patchy making for a pretty bad putting experience. Fairways were mostly green, but for it being early may...this course has seen better days. Cheap tee price (35) but for that I can play courses that are actually somewhat cared for in this town.
Poor course condition
The greens had just been sanded, the fairways were mostly dead. I like the course, but it needs attention.
good course
except for 9th hole it was comparatively not so difficult. as for the green however very difficult. hope to challenge again of 8th.
Rough but a Good Golf Challenge
I have played this course a few times over the years. This is probably the roughest shape it has been in since I first played here 15 years ago. The greens a bumpy and on the low end of acceptably maintained. The course in its prime was outstanding, right now you can kind of see how it could be great. Regardless, from a pure golf challenge of hitting your spots and course management this course hits the spot, especially for any budget constrained golfers looking to test their game. The knock on the amenities has to do with the concession stand being closed around 3:30pm on a Friday. Otherwise shout out to Al the starter, friendly very nice Gentleman.
Not bad but not good
I will say first off the staff was amazing and the course layout was challenging even though it is a par 70 with greens that you can drive. The fairways were very hard and some spots definitely needed some care. Some greens were super fast and some had sand from the greens being sanded a couple weeks ago making them very slow. The bunkers played very well and were filled with sand. I would recommend this course it just wouldn’t be the first recommendation.
