WildHorse Golf Club

Day after Thanksgiving. Never again. We were only able to get 14 holes in. They had golfers stacked up every 5 minutes.

Clubhouse staff were friendly and the Starter was a great guy. Gave us tips and got us going a few minutes early when we knew it would be close to dark when we finished. The problem was there wasn't a marshal on the course. Front 9 the foursome in front of us kept us. After the turn they became a drunk threesome (one guy quit) that started falling behind and never took advantage of opportunities to close the gap. They sat and talked on the tee boxes and continuously took too much time when they got to their ball. We could have finished well before dark had they just kept up with the foursome in front of them.

Al the starter was awesome good conversation before teeing off..course was dry greens were fine very fast..the bathroom shelter out on the front nine was HORRID..💩💩fest as if never been attended the womens were locked must’ve been in worst condition..unacceptable

I haven't played at Wildhorse in 15-20 years because I recall that the fairways weren't in great shape. I'm sorry to say that's still the case. Most of them are browned out grass. I'm keenly aware of the water issues in the Las Vegas Valley but other courses seem to be in much better shape.

I really liked the interesting layout. Conditions were OK. Pace was very good.

Staff is 100% on mark for the pressure they all were under when we arrived. There was a FULL TOURNAMENT going on, with bad cart drivers, drunkish players wanting on sooner than their times, etc and us just waiting patiently for our tee time. The “Starter Guy” , Al, was as professional as could be. Beer cart and outside window sales girl were just dam pleasant!!! Course was excellent, tricky at times, but ya need that too!!!! Will be back FOR SURE
