Angel Park Golf Club is one-stop shopping in Las Vegas golf.

There are two Arnold Palmer courses, neither one too difficult for the average hacker. Plus, there's a lighted par-3 course with sometimes shrunken copies of a number of the most famous par-3 holes in the world and an 18-hole putting course.

This is the mega mall of Sin City golf. Palmer's Mountain Course reaches an elevation of almost 3,000 feet and provides views of the Red Rock Mountains and Las Vegas skyline when you get into it. The shorter Palm Course (6,525 yards) still offers wide-open fairways that allow you to go for the green. No need to play a timid game here.

Overseeding looks great!

Soft, plush, fairways are somewhat long in the blade, like a "first cut" and the greens are much slower right now after the recent overseeding. But it looks great and should provide a wonderful Winter of golf. Cart path only for the moment, but even with a walker joining us we completed our round in 4 1/2 hours on a Friday, so a relaxed, comfy pace. To tell the truth, the (temporarily?) slower greens right now are kind of a blessing as at Angel Park the speeds can get quite troublesome because there is a good amount of slope on many of them. We've had balls go up to the hole and then horseshoe back at us and watch downhillers trickle forever until they go off the greens at times in the past- but hey, it's common knowledge to stay below the hole there.

Enjoyable course & well routed through interesting desert terrain, a nice setting with enough challenge for the average golfer to need their focus and one of the better values in the Las Vegas area. Two more weeks and it should be just superb.

Angel Park Mountain Course, LV, NV

Been years since I played here. Just finished the overseeded so we were cart path only. The fairways are plenty wide enough. You are only in trouble if you out yourself there. The greens all slope away from the Sprong Mountains and have some pace. Luckily, for us today, the greens were a bit shaggy so we could put aggressively. It is pretty simple tract, Fairways and greens and you post a decent number.

round at The Mountain Course

We played the mountain course and it was cart path only. Why doesn't GolfNow have that designation prior to booking the tee time??

Great Course and Condition

This was our first time playing gold in Vegas and this course absolutely set the bar very high for us. The staff at check in was friendly, the course was in great condition, and the pace of play was great. We will definitely play here again.

Angel Park. How golf should be played

Today courses can be way to difficult either because they don't have enough real estate or the designer has a good sense of humor. I am a 10 handicap and Angel Park gave me plenty of challenge while allowing higher handicap players fair options to avoid danger. We love playing here. Beautiful design and well taken care of.

Green Speed

Fairways and Greens in great shape. Greens were super fast and hard to read. Stay out of the rough unless you enjoy hitting off rocks and gravel.

Course is great, Greens are not good.

I am from Phoenix and have a long list of golf courses to judge from. This course is easy off the tee and in great condition. The problem is the poe has taken over the greens and they are slow and bumpy. Give me a half decent fairway and great greens and you have a winner. I wouldn't go back, because the greens were just awful. This place has been around long enough to be better than that. Hope they get it turned around.

April golf

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course was on good shape. Fairways are very generous and greens were smooth and a reasonable speed. Course was reasonably challenging without being overly difficult. Only downside was the group of crazy slow Asians playing in front of us. 2:45 for the front. The marshal lit them up between holes 10 and 11 and they kept a reasonable pace until 16. Probably 2::20 for the back. We will return Good value for the money

Great shape fun course

We played early in the morning so we were ahead of the crowds. Pace of play was great. 3 hour round!!

The course is in excellent condition from tee to green. Fairways are green and full, rough is green and not too thick but thick enough.

Lots of wildlife to see on the course and beautiful mountain views as well.

We played three other courses while in Vegas and this was by far the best one as far as course conditions and layout. There was even a beverage cart out at 8:00 am.

Many other courses charge way more money but are not worth nearly what they are charging. This course is doing a great job of keeping everything in nice shape. Just wish we had played this before it was our last day.

Staff was very friendly.

Would definitely recommend you play this course if you are looking at this price range or higher. You won’t be disappointed.

Will be back if we play Vegas again.

Thanks Angel Park!!

Nice Course; Tough Greens

This is a nice resort course. Nothing spectacular about the course itself but some of the views are nice. A few narrow fairways, but most of them are generously wide and accessible. If the wind is up it's almost certainly a cross wind which will require some strategic aiming. The REAL difficulty on this course is on the greens. There is a 2 club difference in putting towards the mountains or towards downtown. Literally! Add to that the grain of Poana grass and deceptive sloping and it comes to a real putting challenge. Pine trees and pigeons in the desert make this a unique experience. Unfortunately what was not unique was no marshal. Our foursome played front in just under 2 hours. Ran in to a several-group "event" on 10th tee and took nearly 3 hours to play the back nine. I understand everyone has paid and has the right to enjoy their round, but courses MUST be more proactive in enforcing pace of play rules.

When you've been beaten-up and demoralized by the "premier" target golf courses in LV, this is a nice, more relaxing, but still challenging, alternative. I would definitely play again.
