Angel Park Golf Club is one-stop shopping in Las Vegas golf.

There are two Arnold Palmer courses, neither one too difficult for the average hacker. Plus, there's a lighted par-3 course with sometimes shrunken copies of a number of the most famous par-3 holes in the world and an 18-hole putting course.

This is the mega mall of Sin City golf. Palmer's Mountain Course reaches an elevation of almost 3,000 feet and provides views of the Red Rock Mountains and Las Vegas skyline when you get into it. The shorter Palm Course (6,525 yards) still offers wide-open fairways that allow you to go for the green. No need to play a timid game here.

Mike Bellish,

Thank you for your comments as that is not the experience we want you to have. The putting surfaces on the Mountain course are difficult this time of year with the turf not growing. The slope and contour of the putting surfaces don't make it any easier. Please let us try to improve on your experience and thank you for your comments.

Awesome course - just wish players would look after it and have respect for others

Course as wonderfully designed with some fantastic holes and spectacular scenery from the mountains down to the Vegas city centre. I was recommended to play this course by someone I met at LVGC the previous day and actually bumped into him on the 19th so was able to thank him! Anyway back to the course. Greens were quick and slopey so could make you look like an idiot if you weren't spot on. Advice is try to leave yourself below the hole with a straight putt but we all know that isn't possible for all amateurs so be prepared to 3 putt and accept it. My only downer on the whole experience is that players don't repair ball marks on the greens and it was particularly noticeable here. Such a shame really because the course staff were working hard on the course to keep it in good condition. I lost count how many ball marks I repaired whilst waiting for my playing partners to putt out.

rgmcrane, thank you for your comments regarding your round. It is always a big part of the game that each player cares for the course for better conditions. Thank you for playing and look forward to seeing you again at Angel Park.

Challenging Greens

Nice course but very challenging greens due to speed and slope. The pace of play was terribly slow which reduced our enjoyment. The holes were nicely laid out and offered great views of the surrounding mountains.

Good Course Over Crowded

Angel Park is one of my favorite courses to play. The staff is always friendly. The course is in good condition for this time of year. The bad things I encountered this last time was a lot of bird droppings on a couple of the greens and the pace of play was horrific. I think the course must have over booked. I just cant stand to wait 10 to 12 minutes every hole to tee off. We were really lucky to finish before dark and our tee time was at noon. I will definitely play this course again but not this time of year in the afternoon.

Pace of play

I was to play the Mountain course but it was backed up, then started on the Palms. It started to back up also got to the 11th and it came to a stand still. First I was playing as a pair he left on the 10th. I was playing as a threesome then we all left . The pace of play was very bad.

Way too slow to enjoy

We booked Angel Park through Golf Now to give us some down time during our Vegas trip. With a 1PM reservation, we got there early in case we could get an early start. We were given the go ahead at about 12:45, and when we got to the first tee there was a 4-cart backup. That's how our round started, and that's how it continued.

We didn't see a course marshal until after the turn. We he drove by, there was just a smile and wave but the pace never increased. We had to wait on every single hole. In front of us, the threesome and pair were all playing together as well, which was also allowed by the course. They would take their time getting off the green, often taking practice putts after the pin was replaced. They also walked through the traps to get to their carts. Not once were they called out by the course marshal, likely because he simply wasn't there.

The course itself would have been great to play if we got to do the whole thing. As it was, we were playing the 15th in the dark and mid-40's. There's no way this course should be scheduling tee times for 18 after 1:00 during the winter months unless they get a new marshal and figure out how to stagger their start times better.

The rental clubs were OK. certainly not anything special but I did appreciate that they put a "rock club" in the bag and explained what that was. Cats were in really good shape, and all of the staff were friendly.

I won't be going back to Angel Park on upcoming Vegas trips unless I see some reviews that they've fixed their pace issues. Not worth paying for 18 when you can't finish.

Angel Park Mountain

It's been a few years since I last played Angel Park. The course is in great shape and offered some good challenges. Only 4 holes have water hazards, which is a good thing.

Nice course for a Vegas vacation

Had a great time at Angel Park. Over seeding was just done so it was cart path only, so that slowed pace of play, but we expected that.

Greens were a little slow, but I'm sure that's in an effort to keep them from getting burnt out.

If you go after over seeding look out for pigeons!

Beautiful views all around!

Slow!

The pace of play was awful! No one out there to speed things up.
The course was not too bad though. I'd like to play it again when the overseeding isn't going on. Slow greens and no roll in the fairway.
Overall it wasn't a bad day out and the course is still above average.

Nice but narrow farways

The fairways and greens are in great condition. The course is just very narrow and if you go right or left it will cost you a stroke. The greens are very soft for this time of year and the will sit on approach.

Well maintained course

The greens were very though to read and putt......(exactly like the US Open, same grass type)
The play was slow and got slower through out the day. Didn't see the Marshal once trying to move the play along.
Other than that a very enjoyable day. Thanks

Midday Heat

This course is always well maintained. Never have had an issue with staff and pace was quick even though there were a decent amount of golfers. Could use a few more water coolers on course.
