Lakes/Sunrise at Spanish Trail Country Club

Had the opportunity to play this course for $40pp on GolfNow and could not pass it up. It is challenging while not being punishing. But it was a beautiful course in great condition. Play was slow only because we were enjoying the surroundings and snapping pictures. We never caught up to the group ahead nor did we hold up the group behind. If you have the opportunity make sure to play this elite course.

Very nice course, used to be private country club now open for some outside play. Greens not perfectly healed from punching and sanding, but not bad. Practice green was perfect!!! Well manicured fairways and nice bunkering. A challenge for any golfer, choose your tees correctly (I played Combo Blue and White) for an enjoyable round.

Having never seen Spanish Trails on Golfnow.com, we decided to give it a try. After playing another course the previous day, we were surprised at the difference in the conditions. Great greens, great fairways and a three hour round makes me believe this is one of the best courses in the area. Amazing holes considering that the Las Vegas area is basically flat.

This course is immaculate with lush fairways and cascading waterfalls. It's challenging without being overly punishing. Two complaints, we were charged $70+ for one set of rentals, and the drink cart girl only showed up twice over the 18 holes, and there was no drinking water provided on the course. So, bring your own clubs and drinks and you'll have a great golf experience.

While on a business/personal trip, I was able to escape and enjoy an afternoon of golf at Spanish Trail CC. The Canyon/Lake course provided an enjoyable afternoon despite the heat. Great course; super staff and lots of sunshine make for a relaxing time. It's worth the trip.

yeap great course...why over the hills....because your first time playing here will amaze you as you ride over the hills....wont ruin it for you but do pay attention to the info the little black box on the cart is telling you.......

course was in great shape. the greens are always receptive to good shots and roll true.

Enjoyed the round very much. The lakes course was a bit challenging when the wind was freshing up. greens in perfect conditions. friendly staff and good lunch afer the round. Everything was perfect! Thanks + and see you next year again.

The staff was awesome and the course was really nice. This is on my HOT list when I go to Vegas again.

Spanish Trails layout provided a good test of skills using a variety of clubs on approach shots. The course was in excellent condition although they had arified the green on one of the nines we played. The layout played through houses although the houses did not come into play but it meant some distance between some greens and tees. The service was excellent in the pro shop and fair in the dining room. Overall I would rate this as a Vegas golf play list course that offers good golf and value.

Very country club feel. used to be private, nice fairways and greens. excellent service staff. Only problem I had was that they sloped all the fairways towards the water hazards. No way to stop a slightly errant shot from rolling in because the fairways were cut short all the way down to the water. Excellent deal through golf now

Enjoyed my round at Spanish Trail. Course had nice scenery with a number of lakes and waterfalls. Pace of play was under 4
hrs. The only downside were the sand traps. They needed more sand. Otherwise,
a nice experience overall.

The course was in excellent shape. Highly recommended !!

Beautiful fairways and honest greens.
Superbly maintained , the lakes course provides a challenge from the tees - water,water everywhere!

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly making this a great location for a relaxed days golf.

Did I say Windy ? I heard of a 2 club windy... but this was to the point of rediculas. My patner need to rent clubs which were pricey for what he got... but no problem.... If I did not commit to the reservation... I would not have played. it was that WINDY....

Got a great deal on G N. would not pay full price but in Vegas the 50 % discount was worth it. Very windy the day we played which makes all the water hazards a challenge. First nine was very fast. Second nine was very slow and the foursome ahead of us did not offer to let us play through

nice golf course, there was a fivesome in front that slowed down the play.

Very nice course close to the strip. Nice facilities, friendly staff, wide fairways with some luxury homes lining the course.

Played Canyon/Lakes combination. This was my first time playing here and my lack of local course knowledge and windy conditions contributed to a higher score than anticipated. Just my excuse!
The fairways, in places, incorporate severe slopes which can lead to balls being lost in a watery grave for the unknowing.
Overall the course was well maintained and facilities are high end. I would enjoy another crack at this course and recommend it to any level of golfer.
