Lakes/Sunrise at Spanish Trail Country Club

Well maintained course with friendly staff. Some challenging holes with blind shots

Staff was cordial. I don't think they welcome outsiders at what looks to have been a private course in the past. Mats only on the practice range...a pet peeve. Enjoyed the golf. Played Canyon/Lakes nines. Great greens..receptive, smooth and fast. A couple of stunning holes on the Lakes. I think they are trying to save water on the Canyons as a short distance into the rough and carry areas are brown. Does not affect the playability of couse as play areas are green. Lakes was lush,green and manicured.

Course was in terrufic condition. Greens held shots and were fast and true. Overall one of my new favourites.

If you like a country club atmosphere, then you will love this course. My only complaint is that there are some blind tee shots that make it difficult if it's your first time playing. Water comes into play on several holes, especially around the greens.

Booked this tee time not really knowing the course and was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed the course and it was challenging.

For the special rate $24 who can complain about much of anything. However, the lack of GPS in the carts and no pictures of hole layouts on the scorecard made it difficult , especially having not played the course before. Fairways and tee boxes well maintained, greens were a little spotty. Long drives between some holes was also a minus for first timers. Driving range had nice new balls and good mats. No one at bag drop, but girl at front desk was
very pleasant. I would play again at $29 or less for late afternoon play.

Simply beautiful. Its a must play. Up the road from the strip. Just go straight down Tropicana. Couldn't tell I was in the desert or Las Vegas. Spanish Trail Country Club - Lakes course - #3 180yds One of the pretties par 3's i've ever played. TIP: Watch out for the hidden pool. lol!

I had a free Sunday afternoon in Vegas and was looking for a reasonably priced course to play that wasn't 30+ minutes from the strip. I had heard of this course and so when it appeared in the Hot Deals page I decided to try it. Boy, am I glad I did. The course is well maintained and cared for. The Lakes course certainly deserves its name. Water on most every hole. Some very pretty holes. The Sunrise course has less water but some strategically placed bunkers. Overall the course is not punitive and well placed shots are rewarded. I will definitely come back and recommend other do too.

First time for us at Spanish Trail. The Canyon-Lakes course is challenging, particularly the Lakes side. The conditions were fabulous....plush fairways and greens. Will certainly come back.

Hard to believe how well maintained this course is. I never had a bad lie, all greens (except one small portion of one) were near perfect, bunkers were great. Staff very friendly ... would play this track anytime.

Good course. Will plan to play again.............only with fewer strokes.

We played the Canyon and the Lake course. The Canyon course was in need of help. Things were brown and not well maintained. The Lakes course was in excellent shape. It does not look like they are putting much money or maintenance in the Canyon course, it has potential.

Recently played Spanish Trail in Vegas...! Even though I had heard great things about the course...I was still Pleasantly surprised!! This is not your typical "Desert Course"! The layout is challenging...while still forgiving to slightly errant shots. Not like most desert courses where 5 yds off fairway is out of play. Course was very lush & green! You can see they put a lot of time & effort into keeping this course in top condition. Staff was very friendly! Being a private course...the staff was welcoming and accomodating to "guests"!! Can't wait to play it again!

Located in a gated, established, well-maintained neighborhood. Very nice clubhouse and the staff was excellent. Excellent facilities. Mature course that was a good challenge but very playable. Pace of play was good for mid-day Friday round. Greens were recently aerated, but still putt-able.

Courses need to be more forthcoming about course aeration. Greens were slow from recent hydro injection, but did roll well.

Best course I have ever played. A must play while in Vegas! The signature par three on the "lakes" course was amazing! Staff was very friendly. I found a deal to play this course for $35. Steal of the decade!!

For someone who is used to playing average to slightly above avg courses playing Spanish trails which I have wanted to for 25 years and was finally able to thanks to an amazing price on golf now was an amazing experience. Once you get to the course, the staff was extremely friendly. Laid back. Range was small but nice. Balls are nicely stacked, waiting for you. Nice chipping and putting areas too. It was great to get to the first tee, and not have 1 or 2 groups ahead of you waiting to tee off. The course , we played from the whites, was just a joy. If you got into the rough it was challenging. But playable. The greens were in exc condition. Bunkers well maintained too. I am going to have trouble playing another course in Vegas for this price ..just amazing...ok I am lying about all of this , terrible course, don't ever book it, and leave the tee times there to me and my friends.
