About
Desert Pines Golf Club is often referred to as "The Pinehurst" of Las Vegas. It offers a Carolina sandhills experience, yet is conveniently located just minutes from downtown or the Strip. This Dye design features thousands of mature pine trees lining the well-groomed fairways where white sand bunkers protect large, undulating, bent grass greens. Because of the large number of pine trees, often times this course is cooler than other courses in the heat of the summer. Although there are no forced carries, water comes into play on 9 of the 18 holes.

Great place but narrow!!
This place is tight, very narrow fairways. The course was in amazing condition and I finished 16 holes pretty quick. The last two holes took about 30 minutes because I caught up to a foursome of beginners. I would highly recommend this course. I few miles from Fremont street (old vegas).
Ok for a warm up for the value
Course was short, fairway grass was not what we traditionally see, knarly. Not much of a challenge for good golfers. Slow greens.
Decent Round with Lunch Included
Not a bad course, always plays the same although they overseeded a couple weeks ago. Fairways were nice, greens on the slow side but tee boxes were like the rough.

Course layout was good but greens were fuzzy due to over seed. Still enjoy the round and the staff was very accommodating specially Sandra in guest services.
Course was good
The course was a bit challenging but very nice. The only thing was we had to walk most of it because it was cart path only with the carts
Nice lay out
Nice course needs work fairways are mostly brown greens were Resentful areorated and soggy. The course I slayed out nice I understand they are preparing to over seed course .
Terrible fairways Maybe they are doing over seeding won’t play here again till it’s better
maybe you guys are overseeding or something but the fairways have seen better days for sure
Wouldn’t play here again Till the fairways are in better shape Looks like something lit it on fire with gasoline
Inexpensive alternative
Good pace. Greens were spongy which caused big divots and bumpy greens.
How low can you go
Had a wonderful day. The course played smoothly after starting right on time. Hit 3 birdies in a row on 12,13, and 14. By then I knew I had something special going...
This bogey golfer shot a 75 from the white tees..
I really want to do this again!
Desert pines
The course is in great condition the only problem they have the range close or broken and I can’t practice before the round
Nice target golf
Not the longest course but a nice test. I hit every club in my bag today. Outstanding service in the Covid era with multiple safety precautions taken. Course was in very nice shape. Greens were very receptive/ soft and putted relatively true despite being recently aerated. As a bonus, had a great day after being paired up with some wonderful folks who made the round a joy.
