Best greens in Vegas- maybe
But the course is trash.. literally. Trash is all piled up on edges of the waste water river drain that runs the length of the entire course many fairways are in iffy shape as are tee boxes. All the run down houses on each fairway really takes away from any relaxing vibes u may want to have.
I shot well coz easy track… but the course is bottom line muni at best.
Great day
I've read a few reviews about this course and I totally disagree. If you can play a fade and still be in the fairway on every hole, that's not easy but doable, my point is if you stay in play this course is fine, nice greens even though they have been punched recently and they are taking care of this course, noticeable work being done to improve the quality of the course, but still playable. 2nd time to play this course, shot 78, feel great about my round. I will be back, from San Diego.
It's okay
Most of the fairways on the course we're in poor condition, and I was hitting out of dirt on about a third of my shots that landed in the fairway. The greens were sandy and slow but at least that made putting easy. Is you slice it off the tee you are going to have a bad day there is a huge drainage ditch on the right side of almost every tee shot. Pretty easy course if you can hit it strait. I'd only recommend this course if you don't wanna spent a ton of money or are desperate to play
Doing a good job improving this course.
Played very early a bit cold and windy. Course is shaping up greens are starting to look good. Sand traps have real sand in them most Vegas course have terrible sand traps. Staff was friendly I would recommend visiting this course.
Not worth the price
They built a golf course in between two developments where the run off water goes. Anything right will fall into the runoff water that run through the middle of the course. Back 9 wasn’t too bad and the staff was super friendly, but for the non-resident fee it definitely wasn’t worth it.
Don't play this course until late May
Only the front nine open. Told could play twice.
Fairways are mostly freshly planted and not grown in. Greens are sanded. May be worth playing once the maintenance is finished.
Course still in transition from winter grass to Bermuda but overall a great value. Be back in a few weeks.
Too expensive
Not a great place for out of town people. Course was in bad condition. 95 degrees and saw the beer cart once.
Mid April Round
Decent enough layout. Greens were in pretty good condition.
Many of the Vegas courses have cold water available every 3 holes. Pretty essential for the heat of Vegas. This for me is the biggest negative of this course and with only one visit from the cart during my round this is unacceptable.
Please make the small investment in water containers!
Was a great day.
Had a wonderful time with my son and two gentlemen on the course today it's getting in really good shape. They're cleaning up the ditch very well and definitely a course to golf just a few over irrigated water spots on some fairways, but after that the greens are in great shape was very fun. Looking forward to again.
Some tough shots for us1st timers
The fairways may be wide, yet if we don’t hit straight, we are either in the ditch or left on the “gravel”. So I guess I need to work on my game. Some mud on the areas where grass is trying to grow, but not a real issue. The fairways were fine and the greens in great shape (hard to read the breaks).
Great for a quick round in Vegas
Great value when in Vegas (It helps to play with a local for the rate). I looped it twice, getting out at 6 am before the crowds, I was done in 2:20 without even trying to play quick. Once the tee sheet filled in the pace slowed, but we still got around in just over 4 hours. Narrow due to the size of the property, but if you can keep it in play off the tee, it is very gettable.
Lots of folks battling their decisions from the night before, will be tough for those who can hit a straight ball off the tee. You don't need driver for most holes.
Immaculate greens!
Unique layout with the storm water drainage running throughout the course. Fairways in generally poor condition as the dormant Bermuda starts to come to life. Greens however were absolutely perfect..
