A traditional golf course in the land of faux waterfalls, shooting fountains and mountains, Las Vegas National Golf Club is actually part site of Tiger Woods' first win on the PGA Tour.
Las Vegas National was part of the rotation of the Las Vegas Invitational when Woods broke onto the Tour in 1996. Tiger actually won the Las Vegas Invitational (then a 90-hole, multi-course event) with a final round 64 on the private TPC at Summerlin track, erasing David Love III's four-stroke lead.
Average hackers will find a course with plenty of trees in the desert and five inventive par 3s that give National much of its character. This isn't desert golf. It's old school golf with palm trees and sand.
It is also very close to the Strip, just a few turns and about a 10-minute drive away. The area's built up around it with fast-food shops, but the Rat Pack era style remains alive within Las Vegas National's grounds.

Long Course
Had a fun round during this COVID-19 reopening. 104 degrees with a slight breeze. No one in front or behind us. Long fairways with enough water, rough, trees & bunkers to keep you on your toes!
Cool Place
Really neat place and the history is awesome. Not in the best shape but a good layout. Overall good though.
Fairyways and greens were average. Looked like the grass was not fully grown in
Great Value & Love the History
The Club house has great memorability and the history of this storied course. Great value. Only thing is please clean up the trash in the wash that runs though it. It looks to have been there for a long time.
Golfing with friends
Last time I played here, was over 20 years ago. Eventhough I don’t remember the layout, it was in great shape back then. Great shape today. It was nice the restaurant opens early, 5:30 am. Good food there. I would totally recommend eating there, before or after a round of golf. I do like the fact, they gave out free driving range golf balls to hit, before you tee off. Good price for the round, $40 through golf now app for locals. Definitely would go back here to play again.
Vegas Gem
Course is always in great shape. A hard but for test for your game.

Course well maintained with excellent pace of play. Very enjoyable.
Not your typical desert course
Classic layout fun and challenging. Great to read the history of the course and homes during the round. Many hole have plages telling about famous Vegas stars and great golf moments.
Great Value
Love this course. Old Vegas now. Good conditions. Love the surrounding houses and scenery.
A MUST PLAY
A historical place in many ways! On every hole, there are signs describing 'old las vegas' when the rat pack played here. Famous homes/people... and Tiger Woods scores when he played this course on his way to his first victory in 1996.
I'm a local and love coming here! The more I play it, the more I fall in love with it. Classic old school - tree lined fairways in great shape. Greens were fair/ slow today. Bunkers appropriately maintained.
If you have played here, you need to put it on your list.
Great tone back
Love how welcomed we were made to feel. Old Vegas and old time customer service.
The golf course was in great condition staff was very friendly, unfortunately we run behind an eight group that were just wasted, we couldn’t move forward And took us twice as long to play the course. we’re trying to call the staff but they show up until the 17 hole to try to move these guys faster
Cool course
Over all course was in pretty good shape, greens were a little slow but not terrible. Will definitely go back.
Still one of the best...
National is always a good test of golf, Trees, Water and Rough this time around. I do miss the golf boards!!!
