Wide open fairways, nice views
I had a good experience at this course and enjoyed the views of the local mountains and city. The fairways are wide open for the most part so you can really go for it off the tee. The only thing I did not like was that they don’t overseed here so the fairways and areas around the greens are dormant in the winter. In some places the ground is hard packed grass so your ball will rest on what is essentially bare ground, makes hitting irons and wedges slightly harder, I bladed quite a few shots.
The neighborhood this course is in is 55+ so there are a lot of seniors playing, however this did not effect pace of play as the starter and marshal do a great job.
Dormant....
Greens were fair at best, entire course was ‘dormant’ - read dead and hard might as have played at home in my garage. This isn’t Minnesota - course should be entirely playable and GREEN this time of year.

Palm valley
Course has a great layout but the condition of the course was crap divots on all greens dead grass every where was just spray painted green

Beautiful fun course
Loved this course. Fairways are short and fast. Greens are fast and good shape. No worries of getting hit. Will be golfing here again

Not as advertised online
All the regular tees were being over seeded and moved up shortening the course considerably. There was no indication online when making the reservation that this was the condition, only that the course doesn’t over seed for the Winter months which supposedly improves the Summer grass conditions.

Not a very good course. For $67.00, you think it would be much nicer. No GPS in cart. Would not recommend this course.

Great Value Fun Course
Nice course and convenient for me and my buddies. Since it’s darn hot the prices are super low and the course isn’t in perfect condition but still pretty decent. Course is in a quiet area, staff is super friendly, and price is right. The width of the fairways is good for us who tend to hit balls out of bounds occasionally

Loved it
I really enjoyed this course. It was an open course which fit my style and I shot my best round. I will definitely be going back. However, the greens were very very dry, but we haven’t seen rain in over 3 months, but my putting sucks as it is so that made my score a little higher than I would’ve liked haha. But overall an outstanding course and very very friendly staff.

No clue course
Go somewhere else! Course is Bland with all holes basically exactly the same. You would be hard-pressed to remember hole 6 from hole 12... Worse off the Pro Shop allowed a fivesome in front of us ,of course we were a twosome! Now I'm sure fivesomes aren't allowed but we were told by the ranger who helped get us past these 5 quote regulars that he got in trouble for doing that! Can you imagine? You try to book a fivesome there and see what they tell you to do! No chance for you! They don't mind letting their regular players Jam the course up! It's a joke with an ineffective Pro Shop staff!.. This is the worst of the three courses in Sun City.. And not a value because it is very plain with mediocre greens and course conditions...
