Golf Summerlin - Palm Valley Course

I played the Palm Valley Course on Monday and the course was in as good of shape as you would expect for end of November, fairways, greens and tee boxes all nice still. The bunkers were well kept which was a plus as many courses this time of year are like cement in the bunkers. The wind was howling that day so it was pretty dead out there and I played nice and quick.

Great hospitality and front desk people very friendly and helpful. Good challenge and offers a relaxing round with friendly persons we teamed up with..

The course was in great shape and the greens were much faster than the last time I played, but they ran true. I would recommend this course to anyone.

My arrival for an early morning tee time started perfectly. A cart attendant came to my car to gather my bags. The pro shop was very friendly and helpful. They had a well kept , full service practice facility. The starter came to the range and introduced me to the other 3 players I was grouped with. The course had just come off path only, and I found the conditions to be very good. The layout itself allows you to challenge your game. There are a number of very aesthetically designed holes on the course. There are also a few great views to be had.Even though this is a Sun city course, you won't come out of the round feeling that way.

I really like this course. Unfortunately this is the third time I've played and i still have not completed 18 holes. They seem to have tournaments on the weekend so it pushes everyone back - we started at 1:15 and 3 hours later we had only played 12 holes - numerous groups were backed up on every tee.

I suggest calling the course and inquiring about the pace of play before you book

I like this course. Good layout and in good shape. Unfortunately I played with one of the most irratating and volatile person I have ever played with. Amazing how one person can ruin a beautiful day on the golf course. Nothing the golf course staff can do about this situation, however.

Played course for the first time. Found the fairways and greens to be in excellent condition. Pace of play was too slow .. no marshals to keep the pace moving.

Great layout, tee boxes and fairways were in great shape, greens were a little slow, but nothing to complain about. Played in under four hours, cart return gentleman was funny and informative

Golf course condition was really good. From tee to Green, fairway are in good shape, Green roll pretty good, my wife and I totally enjoyed our round. Only problem we encountered was the group behind us were very impatient, rushing for no reason...... we were at Fourth fairway, guy in red from group behind us yell at us to move quicker.... we end up let them play through on 5th hole......

we finished this round under 4 hours.....

Last minute booking and I was placed with a three group from Kansas, enjoyed it immensely and lots of fun.

Course is in good condition overall - especially the greens. Pace of play was good. Only negative was that there was no food available with the cart lady (really)

Would definitely play this course again and would recommend it to any one.

My wife and I tried the course for the first time. We were paired with a couple of gentlemen who were very nice. This is not a really challenging course, being in a Del Webb community it is designed for seniors, which we are, so it worked out perfectly. The course was in very nice shape, wide fairways even having housing. I would definitely play this course again.

Superior staff-- video poker at the bar- golfer friendly course- Will definitely be back!

We were pleasantly surprised with this course. Located in the beautiful community of Summerlin, on the west side of Las Vegas away from the downtown action. The course is surrounded by great scenery and the layout is very nice, the greens were consistant and fairly open fairways with sand traps that played out very well. The tee boxes were cut a little long, but that was due to the time of year. Worth a trip back at another time.

The course just came off over-seeding. This made the fairways very soft and maybe a bit to receptive, but they were in great condition. The greens were also very receptive. They ran smooth and true and a bit challenging to read. The course has a great layout which rewards or punishes risk. I will definitely play this course again. Also, the staff were very friendly.

Fairways were in horrible condition. Greens were ok. Should not charge full green fee for a course without fairways.

one hole was under construction and completely unplayable. no prior notice given. other holes had sod replacement patches and repair areas. mowers were mowing as we played.

This course has a really nice set up for golfers of all skills. I played the course with my wife and she loved the fact the course wasn't to challenging for her, while some of my shots off of the blue tee box were having to clear hazards that she didn't have to. The course was in great condition and staff was very friendly. Great bar set up with the Tavern attached to the pro shop as well!
