VERY NICE GOLF COURSE
golf course very nice and very easy
a lot of holes are same but the is very pleasant golf course
staff very friendly
a good day for us
Great greens
The course provided enough of a challenge for an intermediate player. The greens were a contest for most golfers and kept the game interesting when in really counted. Some serious but fun bunkers as well.
first of six in a week
This course was the first of six courses we played. It ranks overall behind stallion mountain but ahead of primm desert, bears best, and arroyo at red rock. Very similar to the revere course. It was what we expected it to be. good day of golf
Palm Valley Golf course
I played this course this weekend. It was very nicely cared for the greens were amazing, FAST and hard, quite a bit different from where we normally play. The fairways were generous and the ruffs was forgivingly short. It reminds me of the courses in Palm Springs, the course was very pretty overall and had some great views of the Vegas area. Very fun place to play.
My experience
unfriendly staff, did not want to honor the groupon coupon.
Great experience
Played on a Saturday afternoon in January, the weather was great as was the course. Overall a great experience and look forward to playing it again.
Cheap, senior course
The pace of play was slow, but it was Super Bowl weekend. Average course not worth taking cab to play if you are staying on the Strip. Would not play again
well worth it!
an excellent 18 hole community course 20 mins from downtown Vegas
Fun layout
I would like another crack at this course, some very challenging greens, need to have played here at least once to get the hang of them.
VERY INTERESTING LAYOUT
GREAT COURSE, LAY OUT IS GREAT, GREENS WERE NICE AND FAST.
This course is very enjoyable to play.
Palm Valley is an enjoyable layout. The greens are very subtle and somewhat tricky for the first timer. The one aspect I like the most is that the course is right there in front of you no hidden tee shots or hidden trouble to be aware of, Its a very fair course to play. Enjoy!
Easy course.
Wide fairways, little or no desert. Relatively easy course. Fairways in good condition. But primitive clubhouse.
great value, beautiful views, awesome staff.. a fun golfing experience.
The course is wonderful!! a great layout with plenty of challenge for advanced golfers but open enough for any novice to really enjoy their round. The staff was very friendly and gave me some tips for playing the local courses. Fairways & greens were in great shape. Got a great rate from Golfnow.com & was paired with a local golfer.. like having my own personal caddy! will definitely play here again!!
Not Bad for the money
Most fun I 've had in a long time, greens excellent and true if you had the right read your very in, very well taken care of. Will play again when I am in town
Just ok
Overseed cart path only but layout was just ok. A little on the boring side.
Nice course, enjoyed my round
In Sept/13 the course was recovering from overseeding and aeration in both the fairways and greens. That made the fairways quite thin, and the greens were a bit bumpy from the aeration holes. In addition, play was cart path only. However, all of these conditions were known in advance, so it would be hard to complain. Play was just a bit slow, and this appeared to be because there were just two players in my group.
Not enough value.
Booked online Sunday night for an early Monday morning tee time. Was happy that there was an early morning tee time available as there were no tee times anywhere else. Cart path only, which was understandable due to overseeding. The round was $60 per person. You received approximately 15 range balls, a cart with no GPS and cart path only restrictions. I liked the course, but didn't feel the price was right.
11 Dolla' Holla
I went out with my regular partner and my new to golf cousin for a very affordable $11 round in the middle of the afternoon on an August day. Normally, it's well over 100, but we were blessed with monsoon weather conditions which kept the temp down and gave us a little shower on hole #2. There were quite a few rough patches of fairway out there, but I know the course is due to shut next week for maintenance and hopefully those fairways will be patched up. The greens were extremely slow, but then again its been raining all week, so dealing with over watering is an unusual problem for us local folk. My cousin is one of the worst players ever to hold a club, I think we all celebrated him breaking 100... on the front 9! That being said, we left him in a cart to himself so he could chase his ball everywhere. Anyways, this course is very easy and my point is, you can take some someone here for a very forgiving round. The staff was hardly present at times, some would view this as a bad thing, but not for us on this day. We enjoyed our cold Tecate and the looming Thunderstorms just off in the mountains while we seemed to have the entire course to ourselves. I wouldn't take a CEO type here, but I'd be honored to spend another afternoon with a couple of my drinking buddies shooting the breeze and a smooth 92 while enjoying an 18 pack of beer on this sleepy retirement community's course.
Great course
Have played a few Vegas course .... Love courses with grass
Not desert .. Nice fair ways and greens lol the only sand is in the traps
Great course for the price
Nice course and the greens were in great shap. Also the fairways were forgiving on nearly all of them.
