The par-72 course offers 7,014 yards of challenging and fun golf. Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run's design emphasizes strategy rather than power. Reasonable Course, Rude Staff
No real issues with the course, but every staff member with whom we interacted was about as inhospitable as possible. Given the cost of the rounds I don’t think it’s a lot to ask for the staff to be even mildly friendly. Disappointing enough that it left a bad taste in the mouth of every member of the foursome.

A Gem
This was my first time playing this Jack Nicklaus designed course. It is a hidden gem on Hilton Head Island. The course is in great shape. The tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens are in terrific shape. It was a pleasure playing this course.

Fun course
From the red/green tees, the course was fun for those of us who don’t kill the ball and there were not many holes where we had to hit over large bodies of water. The greens were not great but the rest of the course was in good shape

As advertised.
Layout in great shape. Pace of play was pretty slow. As advertised, many holes require something other than driver from the tee box. Facilities are nice, but range balls were an extra cost. Had to wait a while to get a golf cart because they were out and had to wait for some to return, so warm up time was impacted.
It was a really fun day, but I will play from back tee’s next time (and I am a 19hcp) because i like to be able to hit driver off the tee most of the time and this can get you into big trouble here.
