Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run

Lots of rain recently so some standing water. Layed right after heavy rain to be fair.

If you are a local this is the best value for the money. It’s also still a great value for those visiting. Fun and fair layout with a good variety of holes. Consistently good conditions with friendly service. We played after having a great deal of rain the week prior and the course drains well and was surprisingly firm considering all the rain. Highly recommend.

Beautifully kept and super kind staff in a prestigious setting

Course was beautiful and in great condition however we had 4 carts with 7 golfers in the group ahead of us messing around with a 3 cart 6 ball in front of them. We paid for 18 and had to skip most of the front 9 in order to finish. Tried to call the pro shop 6 times and never got an answer or a call back.

Besides from that the course is brilliantly laid out and in phenomenal condition.

Lots of doglegs and I kept telling my partner “I swear we’ve played this hole”. Careful of the alligators. I had one chase me next to the water on the first par 3 we played! Still, great day, we were the only ones out there and I’d play it again tomorrow.

This course was a lot of fun. It had its challenges but overall it was a terrific course. The course was in great shape, Bryan was terrific with advice and information since we hadn't played there before. You could tell attention was paid to the details and it was fun for both level of players. We will be back to play it again.

The course was perfect and the layout want too challenging for anyone to play. However the pace of play got slower the further into the 18 we got. They allow 14 minutes per hole and you play “ready” golf. So you could be sitting for a little bit on waiting to hit the next shot. People were very courteous and helpful. I would absolutely play this course again but maybe a different time of year.

Second time playing here. Unfortunately we had a long rain delay. Mike in the pro shop was great. The cart guys were great too. They worked extremely hard trying to get people out after the rain. Course was great, drained very well for how much rain there was. Greens rolled great, everything was in excellent shape. Definitely our go to place from now on. Half the price of the other top courses on the island and in just good of shape. Very appreciative to the staff!

The fairways were cut high so there wasn’t any roll on the ball This course just wasn’t as nice as I remembered b some gnarly places throughout! Cart paths were rough broken in a lot of places

This course was recommended by a friend who played it a few years ago. Was a little surprised that the pro shop staff insisted on keeping one of my buddies credit cards (he rented clubs) while we played. They had already run the card for his fees. Of course, he forgot to pick it up when we were done and had to drive back to get it later. Starter talked up how great the course was, but we were not impressed. Lack of beverage cart service (saw it twice on a 93 degree day), cart paths are in serious need of repair, greens and fairways just OK. Had to pay for range after paying $150+ to play. We played 2 other courses while in HH and both were better in every respect. Would not return.

Great layout but there was no rangers to monitor the flow groups throughout the course. This was a five hour round which is tough during the summer months. Will play again but when it’s cooler.
