I’ve played courses in much better shape for that price. But if people keeping booking and paying, then I guess they can charge whatever they want.

I knew in advance that the course did not have a driving range, the pro shop was in a trailer, and what I understood to be the old clubhouse was boarded up (which you really don’t see until after the 18th hole). We were informed by the very friendly starter that the course just opened back up in August 2020 under a new name after being closed for five years. So while the curb appeal was not there, the course itself was rewarding to play. The starter also explained that a new pro shop is in the works. The hotdogs were delicious as well. Like many of the courses I have played lately, the grass is yellow and spotty in areas but that seems to be the norm during the winter months at most places, including at one of the most exclusive golf courses in San Diego. I really have no complaints about that as I still had a good time striking the ball and enjoying the uniqueness of each hole. The greens were in great shape. With all that said, it was an extremely pleasant experience, with amazing views of snow capped mountains from many of the holes. It was worth the half hour drive for my husband and I to play here on a Sunday afternoon. I look forward to returning.

Good greens and bunkers . Undulating greens and smooth fast bunkers good sand . Fairways ok some patchy areas around course but it good course it like menifee lakes and hidden valley kinda a ooormams version clubhouse was abandon they use a mobile trailor

Proshop and snack bar are in trailers. Why? Just rehab the old clubhouse. It’s an eyesore. Fairways and grass around the greens were awful. The sand in the bunkers is good. Ever heard of aerating and overseeding? For those that loved this place 30 yrs ago the driving range is gone and #9 on Mountain is a par three. The design was always quite special here but I would rather play a traditional layout in good condition. Words just can’t express the how disappointed I was considering the fix is so easy.

This was my first time playing here and I was impressed! The greens are spectacular. The fairways are still "winter dormant" but better than most. The layout and views are definitely awesome! Also, they have one of the most genuinely friendly staffs I've met. I've now played 30 courses in the IE/Palm Springs areas and this is definitely the best course I've played for under $50.

I would certainly give it a 5 star rating for it's price range, but it can't be compared to other 5 star courses I've played like PGA West, JW Marriot and Journey at Pechanga. Therefore I only gave it a 4 star overall.

Being a Pete Dye course, it is somewhat challenging but playable if you can keep it in the fairways. I'm about an 18 handicap and I shot 94 from the whites. That's with 6 penalty shots for 1 OB and 2 lost balls. It definitely makes my must play again list!

LOVE this course. I drive 1hr away to play, has character and signature par 3. Greens are tough to read, but that is part of the challenge. I usually go with 3 or 4 foursomes.....we have a great time

It was a satisfactory round at Rancho Del Sol. Nice layout and fun holes. Fairways are ok condition and greens are in good condition. Some construction going on, but doesn't bother much. Enjoyed playing and definitely will come back.

I love the course not because its close to my house but the staff friendliness is awesome. Good customer service, good rate and the grass are not that bad although some parts needs watering to keep the grass alive. Over all the course is worth the $ you paid for. Interesting fact of my play here is that I made an Eagle on a par 5, 507 yards. My first Eagle shot and I hope it will not be the last.

Great to see the old Moreno Valley Ranch coming back to life. I never got to play it and was looking forward to experiencing it under this new name. Was in the area on a Saturday afternoon and wasn’t surprised they were busy. Still thought I should be able to get in at least 16 or 17 holes before dark when teeing off at 2pm. It will be really nice when they’re done with the refurbishing, but the greens are still great.

It was a great day, until on or around the 4th hole, when two groups that were 2 holes ahead (obviously beginners) decided to join forces and become a 6-some on the same hole. This stalled everything and it took forever to play holes 5-9. When I got to 10 they were just then starting to inch their way up the fairway. So I quit after 9 with maybe enough daylight to go another 2 holes at the pace they were playing, and didn’t get to see the back 9. $40 for 9 holes wasn’t what I had in mind.

The staff and starter and marshall were all very nice. I think they should be more aware of all the new people taking up the game due to Covid and watch out for things like this, especially on a Saturday. People new to the game don’t know that you don’t become a group of 6 on one hole, and don’t understand how their extremely slow play affects others.

Played this course about 20 years ago, back then it was 27 holes. Staff was Great, 4 1/2 hours to play on a Friday with a 11:30 tee time. Great day on the course. Greens are Fast!!

greens are in perfect shape - everytjing else is ok to good but the greens are incredible.for this time of year.

The starter was extremely rude. There was about 30 mins worth of sunlight and the starter just rolled up to us on the 16th hole and starts yelling at us to not tee off. He’s yells out “ don’t you dare hit that ball”! I tried to tell him that there was plenty of sunlight to at least play 2 more holes. He didn’t want to hear it and continued to yell. So we left. I have never been told to quit playing golf because the sun was about to set. I couldn’t believe it. The other bad part was that we didn’t even get to tee off on time because they didn’t have any golf carts. About a 25 min delay. I wasn’t even annoyed at that. It wasn’t till later when we got kicked off the course.
