A DELL DEAD DAY….STAY AWAY
CONDITIONS IDEAL…..UNFORTUNATELY THAT WAS THE ONLY IDEAL PART OF THIS ROUND THAT WAS!!
Be prepared to do it all yourself from dropping your own clubs, to finding your own cart, to finding your own score card, getting you own ice, finding your own cups without straws or lids, you name it its a do it yourself dive with the costs of a PGA WEST course without the service or staff.
The place was a joke!!!
OH …..and one thing no one at all mentions its cart path only!!!
Ideal for those 70 and 80 year old players not handicappers! So plan to walk more than ride and wait all day as nothing says enjoyment more so than watching 70 and 80 year olds playing cart path only golf!!!
IF YOU WANT AN ENJOYABLE DAY OF GOLF…….PLAY SOMEPLACE ELSE!!!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS DUMP.

GolfNow never had anthing that it was CPO and the Santa Rosa website never mentioned anything.
I played a few holes and quit as walking is a chore for me. I was angry and voiced my displeasure, still nothing on the website. Disguisting.
A Fun outing
First day open after re-seeding so cart path only. Nice course layout, resort course in nature, nice mounding, good greens and sand bunkers. Greens have been punched at some point and need time to get rid of excess sand and speed up. Still a fun outing.
Fun course
Took over 5 hours to play.
No cart person until late in the morning.
Cafe didn't open until 11:00.
But the course was in great shape & fun to play.
Excellent time
When we checked in, we were each offered a bottle of cold water and told we could head out to the course early. The staff really made us feel welcome. As it was during the summer, we only saw two other groups, so pace of play was excellent. We were really surprised.at.how well the course was maintained during the summer. This is fast becoming one of.our favorite places to play when we are in the area.
Great course
Everything about the course was awesome.
With the exception of the bar/restaurant.
It didn't open until 11:00 & we were done by 10:30.
And no cart girl either.
Fantastic Day!
This was our first time playing this course and it did not disappoint! Beautifully manicured and lush considering it's August. We will make this course one of our "Musts" every time we're in the area.
First Timer
Quality golf course for the money, not long but we’ll laid out and in very good condition. Very firm greens.

Need new martial
There was 4 groups on the course. No 4 somes in front of us. We waited a minimum of 10 to 15 mins on every sbot. I asked the martial who was holding us up. He said no one????
Mtn. Vista Santa Rosa
This course, as always, was in excellent condition. A shorter course, well laid out. All was great until around the 6th hole when we hit a roadblock with a foursome that was two groups ahead holding up the rest of the course. This continued for the rest of the round and unfortunately the Course Marshall didn’t see it as an issue. Made for a LONG day in the heat for several groups and we saw many give up and leave.
We still recommend this course to family and friends. Price is also very good in off season:)
Santa Rosa
This is a nice course and is kept in great condition. Not overly difficult, but enough of a challenge to really enjoy it. Pace of play was excellent this time around so it probably had something to do with the heat of the day:)
