fun course for the average golfer...nice layout and maintained very well
I enjoyed the round...very fast pace of play (3-some). Greens were a little "shaggy"...but it has been very hot lately (mid-summer). I would definately book this course again.
Well maintained and interesting course
Santa Rosa golf course (along with its sister course San Gorgonio) are in a gated retirement development. Both courses are in excellent condition and provide a challenging round of golf. There are a number of lakes to play around and the terrain provides many up, down, or side hill lies. The bunkers are consistent and the greens are quick and true. Pace of play is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rough is dense but not too high. These courses are well worth the price and the drive from Palm Springs.
Hidden jewel
What a great time we had. Started from the very friendly security guard at the main gate to the upbeat staff in the pro shop.. Course condition was great, basically what you see is what you get. This place felt like a high end golf resort with half the price. There is two courses, wish we had enough time during our stay to play the other one.

This course is in Sun City, but don't let that stop you from playing. This really a fun course, nice surroundings, big trees. It is fun. To posy and provides a good variety of shots you can hit. No, you don't hit driver and wedge all day. I guess you could, buy you'll be in trouble more often than not. Go play, you'll enjoy the outing, the day and the golf.

The Santa Rosa course is pleasure for any level player
I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this facility. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My threesome luckily got hooked up with a member and he was very helpful and patient with us. Not to mention club champion as well. He was not only a great player but very nice as person. Course was one of best I've played in the valley. If you get a chance, play this course. I will be going back again and again...

Course was in excellent condition and was matched up with 3 young men from LA who were very good to play with. Greens were very quick but true.

The track was well layed out. We played the course in 3:35. It was a beautiful day. The greens are difficult if u are not familiar with them. Very rolling and requires specific placement.

Nice course!
Wide and well kept fairways. Grass can be thick off fairways and greens, 4 sets of tees with two combo chooses. Pick the right one for you! I'll be back.

Course is a hidden gem
Very friendly personnel at pro shop. Had an 7:40 tee time and was on time. Course was in excellent condition and a pure joy to play. I would definitely return and the greens fee was a bargain.
A pleasant surprise.
We very much enjoyed this course. It's in great shape and the greens are fair. We played from the golds and some of the par 4s on the back nine were quite long. Would definitely play again.
Nice Course: Good Value
I played in a one o'clock shotgun event and signed up as a single. There was a bit of confusion in the pro shop as everyone had to register for the event and the group I was initially paired with had already found a fourth. But the staff found another 3-some to pair me with and all was good. Played with some very friendly fellows from Canada and had a good time. The course was in excellent condition and is moderately challenging, which was fine with me. Overall this was a very good experience.
Love the place
The 2 courses in Sun City are great. They are very well cared for and the courses are not too tough so everyone can have fun. There is no beverage wagon so load up your bag if you want a cold one. Always a good time in Sun City!!!
