Rancho Mirage Country Club
About
This course sits at the intersection of two of the most famous roads in Palm Springs: Bob Hope Drive and Frank Sinatra Drive. Yet, it's one of the better kept secrets in the golf scene. Rancho Mirage Country Club in Ranch Mirage is a semi-private club available to outside play through stay & play packages so it does not do a lot of publicity.
There are 10 lakes, tons of palm trees and the snow-capped San Jacinto Mountains to catch your eyes. The course itself is largely flat and inviting for the average hacker. It measures only 6,111 yards from the back tees. But its 122-slope rating is a little deceivingly given how small many of the greens are. It still takes good shots to post a good number at Rancho Mirage.
There are also lighted tennis courts at the complex, allowing golfers to make a day & night of it, if they wish.

This course has great views of Rancho Mirage and the valley. Plenty of cold water on every 3rd hole. Staff very accommodating and customer focused.
RMCC is a great hidden gem. The course is well maintained and has all the options open to all type of players. You can warm up on the driving range and practice putting. No limit on the numb of balls you use. The driving range uses real grass not rubber or artificial grass. The Tee boxes present various challenges. The fairways and traps are well tried and raked by its staff. In our opinion RMCC offers great value for your money without having to spend over 4 hours for a round. Give it try - you won't be disappointed!
Will play there again.
A very nice 3 hour round. Front side greens so-so. Back nine fairways and greens excellent.
Great condition - slow play
played on Saturday morning - caught a 3-some on the 2nd hole (we were a 4-some, with 2 ladies in the group). We were held up by the 3 some for the entire round - no marshal to be found anywhere!
the course was in noticeably better condition than other years when we have played here.
this course s great
wounderful course and perfect service and i wish ti play there again sosos beautiful
excellent value
Not crowded and very good summer rates even for morning tee times. Very relaxed staff. Lots of shade
Good course, Wonderful desert views
Well maintained course for this time of the year in the desert. Very cordial staff.
fun course
good price and up to date carts and greens. lots of shade if your golfing in the summer.
This course has average features
The course needed attention which was surprising for this time of year and considering the surroundings it does not meet the quality standards of the neighborhood. For the average golfer, the course needs quite a bit of attention for this time of year it appears that the lack of water, proper mowing and maintenance has taken its toll.
The course is short but challenging
We played this course on the last day of a 7 day golf trip to Palm Springs area. At first the guys were a little reluctant to play this course because of the shortness of the course(6100 yards). After we were done they want to make this a must play for next year. You have to think your way around the course and the greens will challenge your putting skills. While not as pretty in looks as some of the courses in the area,it's worth it to give it a try.
Best course in the Palm Springs area!
Very forgiving course. Challenging but very playable. Very friendly staff and well maintained greens.
the course was perfect
it is a well maintained golf course.some holes were challenging.
great course to start golf trip
great course to start trip with, affordable and not to difficult.
Basically good. Not a lot of support staff.
Course in moderately good shape. No water or ice on course AND they charged us $0.50 for a styrofoam cup so we could have water in 90+ temps. Pretty cheap.
The course has great features
The bunkers need improvement, no sand. The Ladies tee boxes are all on the side and very awkward. Fairways are great and greens are ok.
Great course, you will like it.
Little bit of everything here.Water, trees some holes wide open, some narrow. I play here about 10 times a year for the past 3 years.
Good for the money
We got the tee time through golf now, and it's a good course for the money. It's not a high end course like many in PS, but if you want to spend the afternoon in nice weather with high handicappers, this is good. The course is harder than it looks with water hazards, some narrow fairways and uneven lies.
A relatively short course except for a couple of holes.
I like the way this course lets you warm up on several easier holes and then adds pressure the rest of the way through the round. Many holes need precision rather than brute force.
The course has great features and the pace was excellent.
Enjoyed this course, very scenic and good value for your money.
Great location and great course
Excellent value, great course in good condition for the average to good golfer. Only 6100 yds, but 7 par 4s over 400 yds. Short par 3s.
This course will challenge most golfers
The course is fairly narrow with some challenging tee shots. General condition of the greens and fairways was good. The bunkers had no sand and were nearly unplayable. Not a course for beginners!
