Apollo Beach Golf & Sea Club

Look forward to playing again. My wife and I try to play this course every year. Course condition last year not so good. This year shows much improvement . Grounds crew has done a wonderful job. Gary

Some greens could use some help, but overall a fun course to play.

Apollo Beach is a diamond in the rough, unfortunately at times its been US Open grade rough. It's a really enjoyable RTJ layout, that takes advantage of the natural water in the area. Every hole has some intrigue to it, and the elevated greens really makes it an interesting course. Unfortunately the course was in such bad shape that I couldn't recommend it to anyone. I decided to give it another shot recently, and was pleasantly surprised. The greens were slow, but rolled fairly well, the fairways had their rough spots, but were lush enough the majority of the time. The tee boxes were in very good shape as well. It still isn't in the condition the layout deserves, but it is now in good enough shape to let the layout do its job, and provide for an enjoyable morning round.

I thought t hat the course was great! I did play well which was does add to it. There were a lot of straight holes but don't let them fool you. I am not a big hitter but still managed to par a few holes which I normally would not par. I also played with a guy named Rick and he plays there a lot. He was the nicest guy I have played golf with. I cant wait to get back down to Florida and play it again.

The course and wide fairways but challenging because of bunkers and water along the fairways almost on every hole water in front of 14 green makes it difficult to reach all you have to write up a short long ball hitter course very good shape I recommend it to anyone

enjoyed playing with two other fellows, made the pace a whole lot better.

I'm a member play twice a week. Like the course and the improvements there making. The staff is very nice. Enjoy my outings there. Water everywhere and wind it can be tough.

Played with a foursome and finished the round in just over 3 1/2 hours. The greens were fast but in good shape. The fairways were a little rough in spots but otherwise very playable. I enjoyed this course and plan on playing it again. Plan on bringing a few extra balls as there is water on nearly every hole. This made the course very enjoyable and tough, along with making for nice scenery while playing.

If I paid the going rate I would have asked for a refund. The course conditions didn't warrant the golf now rate. There was too many areas where the fairways were like playing in the dirt instead of grass and the greens were just awful with bald spots where you didn't know if your ball was going to roll or bounce to the hole. And of course the holes were placed where the grass was balding. Very disappointed

Played this course on 12/11/14; I have played it several other times as well. Except for a mowing mistake on green #1, I thought the course was in exceptional condition. In fact, it may have been the best I have ever seen it. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

I've played here before and I was surprised by the course conditions. Some washouts and flooding. Some greens were not in great shape; fairways were ok. Tee boxes were fine.

Good day for slice golfing. Course was in good condition but greens wereally a bit rough. Play and pace was great. For $5.00 they should consider more balls for driving range since it's so far away.

Course was in good shape. They appear to be spending more money to keep it that was than in the past.

We played Apollo Beach last week and enjoyed it enough to play again.
Greens are in excellent shape.
The fairways could use a little TLC in spots but overall, not a detractor.
Excellent staff with a long term commitment.
