We have played this course in the past and it wasn't in good shape. We gave it another chance since they had closed the course for a week for aerification. The closing of it made zero difference . The greens are super slow, fairways are not much different from the rough and the tee boxes ate horrific! Will not play again!!

Course very good condition. Enjoyed all except for tee boxes which were in very bad shape. Will come back again. Especially liked the person in the pro shop who is always very nice and knowledgeable about the course and playability. Very dedicated employee who seems to love what he does.

I stayed at one of the Villa along this golf course for about 4 months last summer. I played this course once a week for the 4 month. This was before the change to Apopka Golf and Tennis Club. After my round yesterday, I have to say I was impressed with the improvements being made. They have a ways to go yet, but going in the right direction. I have alway like the layout of this course, the elevation changes, and the wildlife you see along the way. With the improvements being made, I am going to have to come more often.

I would have gave them 5 stars if it weren't for a few things. First off, the landscapers were working the course and I had lawnmowers on and around the green on two or three holes on my approach shot. The greens were recently aerated and they had no warning for that on golfnow. The sprinklers were on in the middle of the fairway on one hole and the overall condition of the course was average. For the price I got due to a hot deal I can't complain but I wouldn't pay more than 20 bucks to play here again.

Watch the trees on the right and left sides. Better to hit short and stay on the fairways. Tee boxes need some attention on dry spots for par 3's especially. Dry conditions and some patchy areas that could use attention. Driving at least 200 yards is necessary to reach your green in 2/3 strokes. Take lots to drink because it's getting real hot out there. Expect to score higher than normal.

The course conditions continue to show steady improvement. The greens had just been punched and sanded but I knew that when making the booking. I look forward to playing there again in a couple of weeks, to the greens being in great shape. Overall, my friends and I had a great time and they really liked the layout and level of difficulty of the course.

Played this course about 5 times and find it a nice experience. Had my best score here so no complaints.

The course is in fair to good condition. No food or beverage was available until after 2pm on a Sunday. I found this to be a big disappointment, not a good way to get people to want to come back. I would give this course another chance, though.

The Fairways were in great shape. The Greens were a little slow, but also in great shape. I will most certainly be playing this course again and would recommend it to any one else.

We have been playing this course for 15 years. It is in the best shape it has ever been in. The only way to describe the greens is amazing!! Does have some spotty areas in the fairways, but over all the course has really been turned around. Play it again or try it for the first time. You won't regret it!

I was originally not going to play golf because of the weather, but there was a break in the clouds and took full of vantage of it. Greens were in great condition, but the fairways still need a great deal of work

First I'd like to say; this course could be a top location to play. Now the BUT...... The design of this course is top notch; beautiful rolling fairways with nice elevational changes. What is lacking here is landscape management. I found that the fairways were patchy throughout the course; and leading up to some of the greens. The speed of the greens were fast which in my case I like. Conditions of the greens I'd grade @ 5 out 10. I would play this course again. I played an afternoon round w/ group of 4. We finished in approx. 4 hours. So there was very little back-up at this time. All in all the course proved fun and enjoyable.

The main problem was two threesomes of old, rude, homeowners who thought they owned the course and wouldn't let anyone play through, even though they were the slowest golfers on the planet. Besides that, one brought his dog along and one parked his cart next to the green everytime because he could hardly walk.

There were a bunch of storms the evening before my 12:50 tee time and so the back nine had a lot of trees and damage as a result. But the crew at the course took care of the grounds and by the time I finished the front nine, the back nine was ready to be played.
The greens are in good shape and the overall conditions continue to get better at this course!

I really enjoy the layout of rhe holes. The greens are in very good shape. The 1st 3 or 4 holes usually play into the wind, but don't get discouraged.
I wish that there were more water coolers on the course especially as the summer approaches, because we were very thirsty and they don't have a beverage cart.

I have played this course for over 12 years on and off. I found the conditions had improved significantly in the past couple of months. The greens had good grass on them, although it was too long for my taste(ie, too slow). The tees and fairways were in good condition with some patches of weeds here and there.

This course is a great challenge for all types of players. Conditions continue to improve!
