About
River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

Not fun when you have 4 groups on a hole. The price was great but all the waiting wasn’t worth it. I won’t be back

Great Value
Other courses could take a page from this one. Keep your prices low and volume high instead of exorbitant fees and low number of players. In better condition than several more expensive nearby courses I've played recently.
Great course, great wether!
It's great to see so many improvements being made to this course. It's very well-maintained, especially with the rough being cut so closely. Good for me because I don't always find the fairway and you can actually find your ball. In many other courses, you have to be right on top of your errant ball to find it. getting out of that is a different story. Despite our severe drought, this course is in very good shape. It's good to see a course that has a reasonable starter and a course so well kept.

Great shape
Fairways, ruff, tee boxes all great condition. The greens perfect, although a little fast for me. 3.5 hours. Great value.

Good Condition
I play here usually once a year while I'm at my Time Share in Bradenton Beach. I've learned not to play after a lot of rain. When the golf course is dry, it's in good shape. It's a good value.
The only issue I had, was my freind had to rent clubs & the rental clubs are very old and needed regripping severely!

Good Value
My son and I have played many courses over the last 3 years in Florida. The price of the round, for what you get, is a great value. We have played River Run four times now in three years

Best course value for money.
We are playing this course once a week although it is over an hours drive to get there. The course is well looked after & the staff are always helpful.
We have played other courses that seemed to have been neglected since we played there before so we would rather play a course that is well maintained.
