About
River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

Good day of Golf, didn't know it was cart paths only until I got the Golf Now reservation notice.
Over seeding so we had to walk which wasn't too bad
Pace was borderline but the County Courses never check and let it back up. Small pet peeve of mine so I have to live with it. I play better and stay more focused when I don't have to wait.
Other than minor stuff all in all a good day of Golf.
Sad just Sad
Went with my brother they hooked us up with an older guy who was nice but not very good and another guy who had absolutely no business being on a golf course it was brutal, no rangers EVER. I suppose that's what you get at a municipal gc in fla.
5-1/2 HOURS NEVER AGAIN FOR ANY PRICE!!

Good Value at a Nice Course
The greens are in excellent condition and the fairways were well manicured. The staff was friendly as well. Played the round in just over 3.5 hours.
Great Morning
We have been looking for a moderately challenging course to play 9-holes in the area and I think we found it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The course was in good shape and challenging. We will come back to play this gem, again.
1st time playing River Run
Really enjoyed playing River Run for the first time. For the cost I was extremely pleased with the course. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely be playing there again when we travel to the area!
Awesome Experience
The staff were friendly and the course was excellent. Played with a gentleman from Scotland and he was a joy to play with. He had played the course before and was very helpful with details of the course. Will definitely play here again. Price was exceptionally good.
Fun Course To Play, Great Value
Pace of play was slower than usual and a few sand traps still need some work but otherwise this was an ‘as expected’ round at River Run. Course is drying out from recent hurricane and heavy rains. Greens holding and rolling true. Staff works hard to make it a pleasant experience. Good value. Recommend this course.
