Golfer Reviews
Nice greens
I really enjoyed the greens. It would have been nice to have a ball washer on the course every now and again since the carts didn’t have one. The few ball washers we came across were either broken or had no towel or both. Should be very easy, quick fix. Some interesting holes. They should have a crew that drives down the fairways with dirt to fill in the bare spots.
Older Course
Older Course and it shows. Range balls were probably hit by Tom Kite when he was 15.
Overall, had a good time for $45.
Nice greens
Greens were the only good condition on the whole course! The course was soaked in spots! Fairway and roughwere not well taken care of—-no maintenance. Lay out was pretty good. Could use another set of tees at the 6000 yard marks!
GREAT VALUE
Amazing courses down here in comparison to the north east; I’m from Massachusetts and wow amazing I didn’t ove a green 302 it was just the n the air haha great time
Afternoon delight
Had a 1:00 tee time which worked out great for pace of play. Was a single paired with another single. We finished in under three hours. The course was in very good condition compared to others I played in the area. Very good deal on teeoff.com for $43.99. The course had wide open fairways and plenty of water although the water didn't come into play much. Located across from the airport if that is important to you
Great course
All was great on this couse. Everything was adequate from greens to the fairway. Pace of place was good even though I thought after seeing the parking lot, it would be a long day. Yes really nice course for everyone to play.
Whispering Pines Golf Course
I must confess that we played the day after 36 hours of intense rain, so the course was wet. But I recommend this course, it´s worth it.
Horrible staff
I booked 18 holes, when I arrived to pay for my 18 holes, the woman at the pro shop refused to ring me up for 18 holes as she insisted "This golf course is a 4 hour course" We finished 9 holes in less than 1.5 hours then we were refused to be allowed to play the back 9. I will never give these people my money again.
Whispering Pines
Was partnered with two very nice gentlemen from Las Vegas. It was raining slightly, so I think the course had less players than I'd expect on a weekend. The starters were very attentive & helpful. The ranger kept us all moving along at a good pace. The course itself was in very good shape & surprisingly dry given the recent weather. My only complaint is there was no beverage cart, but I didn't need that to help my poor game.
