#7 Par 4 Dogleg Right Photo submitted by jmc1958 on 04/03/2015
Nice course.
Second time playing that course. Not quite as impressed as I was the first time, but still good value for money, so no complaints. The back nine is in better conditions than the front nine. However, the front nine is OK.
We will probably play this course again.
Whispering pines. 6.5/10. Maybe a 7
Bag drop guy not as friendly as I expected. Other courses are better
Played with a nice group. No drink cart!!!
Saw a Marshall once. My group had all signed up for 9 holes only. I played a couple of holes by myself but quit
Very too slow!!!
I do not recommend simple by the fact that we have to wait at each hit. We play in 5 hours. Too much for this course!!
Too Slow and Too Grumpy
My goodness, this place was slllloooowww -- at one point as the sun was setting their were four groups standing on the 17th tee waiting to hit as the sun set. This typified how slow the pace was all day and we were told it is always this slow by those we were partnered with.
This course forces singles to ride with a stranger: I guess I still think about covid and that did not sit right. My wife was with us and she was going to ride with me: but that would be an additional $15. She decided she could walk the front nine and the staff said no she couldn't because it would be "too far" and for "safety reasons". They were a bit nasty about it candidly.
By the time we finished the round - everything in the clubhouse was closed, the staff couldn't be bothered to tell us where to leave the carts as we drove in as it got dark, not even a bathroom to use "because we got in too late" (as if that was our fault).
Great price - a solid course for the price. Even in the winter the fairways and greens were in above average shape.
But candidly - not worth the cloud of grumpiness that hangs over the people you have to deal with.
Good value
Course was in good shape, but the pace of play on the back 9 was horrible. We had 2 groups waiting at tees together.
Poor condition and very slow!
Greens were very bumpy, fairways were sparse and rough was dead. Even worse the round took 5 hours 15 minutes and we had a 5 some and a 6 some in front of us. I won't rush back to play at any price
Great course.
First time playing Whispering Pines and we have booked two more games over the next week. Interesting course, in near perfect condition, with easy access. Great value for the money.
Worth a replay!
Greens were somewhat rough, particularly on the front nine, yet ran true for the most part. Fairways were in good condition. Overall our round was a pleasurable experience, spoiled only by slow pace of play and cool temperatures…worth a replay on a warmer day!
Nice course price was great.
We had an excellent off season day on this course. For February course was in good shape, there was a few repairs going on around the grounds. Over all I would play here any day.
