Ocean View
Course was in excellent condition! Greens were a little on the slow side but not patchy and rolled true. Layout is fun and moderately challenging. Really good value through GolfNow
Overbooked as usual
They had a tournament that day, and GolfNow or Oceanview or both overbooked as usual. We skipped over about 6 holes and left early as there was no way we were going to finish our round before dark. I wish GolfNow would let you know about tournaments before you book.

Wonderful course to play! Played well and enjoyed the challenges it has to offer! We play the course every time we are in the area!

Great price… great time
Course was in good shape and the staff was friendly. Fun course. Only negative was people weren’t grouped together so you would have a single, pair, and pair and it was a battle of waiting each hole. Just combine people and do that way is my opinion.
Pace of play was terrible. Lasted 3 holes and left. Took an hour and a half for 3 holes.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. It will get better!
Fairways were hard! Greens were manageable! Tee boxes need work! Hopefully it will get better! Price was right

Great public course
Great course for your dollar. Unfortunately, there is no driving range. The benefit is, no need to show up super early. The course is in pretty good condition, with only a few areas needing repair.
Labor Day weekend
It was Labor day weekend, so pace of play was bad....but I expected every hack to be on the course
Fairways and greens were what you should expect for a muni. Pretty good. Staff was good and easy to get something to eat or drink. Don't expect Augusta, but more like Scotland conditions. Saying that it has been the driest August on record. I say give it a try.

good value for money
The course is moderately challenging and in pretty decent shape for a public course with as much play as it gets. I enjoy it and intend to play again
Tremendous Value!
I have been on a hunt trying to find a course in Norfolk that is well kept has a decent layout and is great for practice. We’ll look no further. Ocean view is quite possibly the most underrated course in Hampton Roads. Greens were phenomenal. They had recently too dressed the front nine but they were still in great shape. Greens are on par of not better than other higher end public courses in the area such as Riverfront and VB National. The course is short and relatively easy, but there are several holes that will challenge your course management and shot shaping ability when played from the tips. I cannot recommend this course enough. Go play Ocean View today.
Oceanview is back
This course is in 10 X better than it was back in late June/Early July. It’s one of the cheaper rounds to play in the area and it’s absolutely worth every penny!
