Nice City Course
I enjoyed my round at Oceanview. I greeted NICELY when I arrived in the club house and pro shop. The pace of play was a bit slow. I did see the marshal come out and it got to moving. I will definitely go back for more rounds.
Nice course
Our bad luck the greens are undergoing maintenance right now. They can use additional watering to improve the growth.
Disappointing
What a shame, what an absolute shame...
I played the course in the spring and I loved the layout and enjoyed my round, however it seems that the last time I played was the last time the course was really given any love.
Tee boxes are in poor condition with the ground being either too hard for wooden tees or too sandy to keep them upright. This was nothing though compared to the greens. Putting from the fairway or the green felt exactly the same as they were about the same length. Things come to a peak when trying to putt at the short par 3 fourth hole, where the green looks like it was used on a cross production of 1917 and Baywatch such is the amount of divots and sand on the green.
As for the bunkers, given that there is a beach less than a half mile from the course you'd expect more from the sand, but its like trying to shoot off concrete and weeds on many holes.
Course promises so much but ultimately fails to deliver which is such as shame because it is a nice looking course just badly in need of some real TLC

Love OV- greens are a little rough
It’s always a blast playing there. Course is fun and good price. Greens are rough and bumpy. Hard to hit any putts
Loved the breeze at Ocean Breeze!
It was a warm day on July 4, 2022, but a nice ocean breeze stayed with us all 18 holes at the Ocean Breeze Golf Club. The layout was very navigable and fun and the ponds large and pretty with nice landscaping. I will be back and next time bring my bathing suit. The Ocean is just a block away!

The Ocean View golf course in Norfolk, VA is right across from the ocean and had a lovely breeze to cool you off in the sun. It was a very pleasant round as a result of that and the course conditions.

fun course, sub par conditions
This course is a regular in our rotation, however it's in the worst shape I've seen in years. The greens are beat up and sandy, some of the bunkers are dirt with grass growing in them, although some are sandy and have improved. The fairways are really thin right now and are hard, but weve been pretty dry lately
