Quick round
Played a 2 1/2 round with another single. No one on the course after 1 pm. Extremely hot day, but enjoyed the round. Greens were in good shape after top dressing, but a little slow. Tees, fairways were all in good shape as well. Would get much more play if closer to Myrtle Beach.
Not a great beginners course; lots of carries, lots of water. Overall a very pretty course, but the recent rains did not help the conditions of our round. Of course, not the clubs fault For that. Very friendly staff and comfortable club house.
I felt the course was in very good condition. The staff was very friendly. The price was very good especially for the course being very good. The greens rolled true but I wish they were a little faster. Had a great time.
Great Day at Diamondback
This was my first time playing Diamondback, and I had a great day. The staff were friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised that range balls were included. That helped me get a good warm up. I had a little of a wait behind some other groups, but the pace was pretty good. The course was in very nice shape. Fairways and greens were dry and firm. Just enough water and sand to make it interesting. I recommend this course, and plan to play it again.
Challenging for short hitters
I am an average (HCP 26) senior golfer and had difficulty clearing several water/marsh areas, even after laying up and being well positioned. Today the greens were very slow -- needed to be cut.

Greens very bumpy
Nice design but greens not in good shape, they don't roll true. Lots of bumps and looks like a fungus problem.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give Diamondback Golf Course another try in the near future.
Challenging !
For this période of The Year, course in very good shape...nice tees off ! Greens in excellent shape but pins installed at difficult sites...
Very challenging course...even starting from the white tees, requiers long hits to avoid ...
Great Day
We were late and that didn’t seem to be a problem We got right out on the course
The fairways were green and the greens were pretty good for so early in the season
Nice Course
Diamondback is a nice course for the average golfer. Due to the rain the couple of days before we played the course was very wet and it was cart path only. We enjoyed our round in spite of the conditions.
Lots of great holes.
Great course, in good condition. Took over 5 hours .
