About
The 18-hole Diamondback Golf Course (previously known as Diamond Back at Woodland Valley Country Club) in Loris, SC is a Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda golf course that opened in 1999. Diamondback Golf Course was designed by Russell Breeden. The greens are Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda and the fairways are bermuda.
This modern Russell Breeden design is surrounded by unspoiled natural wetlands and lowcountry forest. Diamondback Golf Course is the first course on the Grand Strand to offer Sunday Ultra Dwarf Bermuda greens. Strategically placed bunkers and lakes allow for a challenging round of golf that will make you return year after year

worth the drive
Nice course worth the $30 we paid. The greens where a little slow but in good shape. Would make the 30 minute drive again for a hot deal.

Excellent Valur
This certainly would be considered a hidden gem. Several interesting hole layouts. Premium on putting the ball in play and in the right location. A couple of holes with forced long carries. Greens relatively fast. Fairways in good shape overall. Worth the 40 minute drive!
Took 5 1/2 hrs to play.Waited on every hole to tee off.No
marshall.No beer card.Had 8 15 tee off.Played 1st hole

Good bang for the buck.
Nice mid level golf course. Great value for $32. Fairways and greens in good shape but if you're off the fairway good lies are hard to come by. You definitely have to think your way around the course and driver is not always your first choice off the tee.
Definitely will be back this month before heading home to Canada.

Staff and course was top notch. The only negative we experienced was the pace of play, had a three some in front of us and we had to wait at every tee box for a minimum 5-7 minutes just for them to hit the 2nd shots.
Wonderful Day Out
Pace of play was slow on the front but moved right out on the back. The course was in very good condition. Sand traps a little inconsistent. Would recommend playing here anytime.
Good course for value
Wife and I played, condition of course was in excellent shape. Only issue I had slow play in front of us no. No ranger on site to speed up play
Great GEM of a course
Located 25 min from North myrtle Beach. The drive is well worth it. Several very challenging holes with lots of water. Excellent value for the price and the staff can't do enough for you. Excellent practice facility.
wonderful round of golf
We were delayed in arriving st the course a few minutes on a very busy afternoon. An attendant met us at our car, loaded our bags quickly, took a lunch order from us, and then brought it to us on the first fairway. Superlative service and a great course!
Little TPC
I loved this course. Reminded me of playing Myrtle TPC. So much fun and would recommend this course to everyone
Our start time was delayed 50 minutes due to a high school tournament but once we got going we played in 3 1/2 hours.
Fairways are narrow so keep the ball in the middle and you’ll be fine.
