International Club of Myrtle Beach

.course was very wet. Cart paths only everywhere. Tee boxes saturated as well. Lots of rain last week I was told. Greens very goid tho.

We had a great time even though it was cart path only due to recent heavy rains!

The tall pines lining the fairways were incredible! I'd love to play this course again! My buddy and I played music throughout our round and the music was just bouncing off the trees and echoing all day.... Just awesome course!

International Club was built toward the end of Myrtle Beach's golf boom, which will not exactly go down as a golden age of golf course design. The challenges on offer are pretty familiar: keep it in bounds and in the narrowish fairways off the tee, and try and hit it on the green and make your putts. There just isn't much in the way of strategy or innovation. The wide green on the par-3 sixth and the centerline bunker on the par-4 eighth are good features; if there were more like them, the course would be more memorable.

To be fair, International Club is nicely-kept for its price point (including new greens installed over the summer). but if you're prioritizing noteworthy golf on a future Myrtle Beach trip, International Club will underwhelm you. It might be more suitable for a bolt-on Emergency 9 or 18. That said, the people are friendly and the beer is cold, so it has its loyalists.

Played Nov.6. Excellent weather but course was very wet especially on the fairways. Greens were superb and majority of traps were playable. Good mix of par 3,4,5. Very nice finishing holes, not a super tight course. Pace of play was excellent. I would play this again. Hopefully the course will dry out as today it was paths only.

It was so wet. Poor drainage. You don't expect to be covered in mud when You finish your round.

We received a wonderful welcome right from the Bag Drop to the Pro Shop. This is a top notch course from conditions to layout. One of the best courses we played in the week we stayed in Myrtle Beach. Shirley and I are looking forward to coming back next April just because of the treatment we received at this course. Other facilities could learn a lot from The International about how to treat Canadian golfers .

Well maintained fairways and greens. water in the bunkers, but hey, a storm just rolled through (so free lift out of water).

My tee time was 930 on a Saturday morning so I didn’t have high expectations of a decent pace of play. To my surprise we played in about 4 hrs and 15 mins which I thought was pretty good. The course was in good shape and the greens were true. The practice areas were good as well. I would definitely play again

After the hurricane, I wasn't sure what to expect of the course conditions. The course is in EXCELLENT condition and was even allowed to drive on the fairways. Course is not overly long, but good set-up provides for a challenge. Greens in perfect condition. I will play it again.

Played here for the first time, and had a great afternoon; in fact, shot my best round in years. Tees and fairways were in very good condition, and the greens are in good shape, considering the work that had to be done to them, this year. The staff was friendly and helpful; had a nice conversation about golf with the gentleman in the pro shop, after my round. The course is not ridiculously difficult, but it can challenge all levels of golfers. It is a very fair course; hit a good shot, you'll be rewarded, hit a bad shot, you'll be penalized. That's how a course should play. And this one plays well, giving a golfer a highly enjoyable round.

Because of the unusual heavy rains it was cart path only. Had I not used a "hot deal" from golfnow I would have overpaid .

Some of the cart paths were actually FLOODED. Saw some staff using pumps to drain the sand traps ...and have to agree with other reviewer comments about the greens-bad shape. Like putting on your living carpet but worse.

I am sure most of the courses in Mrytle are "swamped" with water currently but if you like fast greens this course will disappoint you even in dry conditions. Read the reviews !!

The people at this course were friendly when we arrived. Course looked good from a distance when we got on it it had been aeration in the last few weeks, very bumpy and repair of sod all the way around every green. I know this is summer and maintenance is necessary it should be told when you book your tee time. Golf now should share this info. Thanks

No notice that the greens were dead. Locals must have known, not many people at the course. Rest of course in good shape, even with bad greens, they were rolling smooth and fast. Good day with no rushing.

Nice layout and staff but greens are atrocious. Hard to any fee but silver lining is pace of play because no one is playing it!
